Hillary is only popular among far right Democrats like those in California. The true progressives in Oklahoma and Idaho hate her.

Considering we haven't seen a poll of the oklahoma or idaho primary yet, she could be in danger there. If Webb is to succeed anywhere, it will be in the states with the most conservative democrats, which are in the south and republican west.

Didn't she win Oklahoma in 2008? And the Democratic base is Idaho would be quite progressive....I don't see your point.

That was more a result of racism against Obama than anything else. Edwards would have probably won OK if he had stayed in the race long enough.

non-Hispanic whites:

Clinton 53%
Warren 25%
Biden 6%

African Americans:

Clinton 70%
Biden 16%
Warren 3%

Quite a large racial gap there, especially for Warren.

Warren has always been the candidate of out of touch liberal white folk who want to lose in 2016.

LOL. Walker and Bush leading, Trump not even included. Interesting that Hillary didn't fall much in the state though. 59% here, she got 55% (as of now) in the actual contest.

As usual, I'll point out that Idaho Democratic voters are more left-wing than California Democratic voters. Ralph Nader won 2.45% of the vote in 2000 and he was a write-in candidate; that translates to something like 10% of Democratic voters casting a ballot for him. In California, Nader won 3.82% of the vote.

I'm not sure where you got the impression that Idaho Democrats are conservative; they tend to be secular, lower middle class or working class and they're disproportinately public employees. Generally speaking, these are the conditions that produce left-wing political views among white voters in the US...

Note: when I say "Idaho Democrats", I'm referring to people who almost always vote for Democrats, not people who identify as Democrats.
