If olawakandi’s current posting rate were to keep up indefinitely, then he’d be the second poster to reach 100k, and would do so in about 3 years.  And I guess, even though TimTurner is way way back on the list at ~25k posts currently, he’s also making more than 1000 posts a month now, so would become the 3rd poster to reach 100k, about another 3 years after olawakandi.

With this post, it looks like I’ve surpassed Eraserhead for 12th place.  Since my posting rate has slowed down since the old days, it remains uncertain if I’ll ever make it to #11 (or beyond), or if one or more other posters start passing me to push me further down the list before that happens.

Realpolitik just hit 65k posts. Olawakandi has probably somewhere between 1700 to 2200 posts to go before he surpasses Realpolitik, so it should happen some time during the summer

It's been 3,019 days since opebo was banned, and in the year preceding his ban, he was averaging 13.32 posts a day. So if we multiply the # of days x the post average, we get an additional 40,213 posts.

Assuming his posting rate stayed the same, which is arguably unlikely although for all we know he could have posted more, (and his 2012 posting average was actually lower, indicating he was becoming more active, not less) then he would have 87,239 posts today - nearly double his current amount, and would have the best shot at toppling BRTD.

If they both kept posting at the same rate they posted at in the past 30 days, then it would take about 58 months, so that would be March 2027.  At that point, they'd both be at about 140,000 posts.

His dad died and he’s moving to Chicago apparently, so maybe that’s why he’s slowed down
