Bushie, you never answered if you actually believe that my relationship with Jesus (which is non-existant) is the most important thing in my life.

On the topic of unanswered questions, I find it very troubling that he refuses to tell us whether or not he's ever shopped at the Asian market.

There are apparently a lot of Asian stuffs in Oklahoma

Obviously not.

Some possible good news on the job front today.  One of my high school friends who I have on Facebook knows I have been looking for a CAD job.  Her husband works for a CAD firm in Oklahoma City and they are needing help, so she had him get in touch with me and talk to me about it.  He called me about 1230 today and talked to me for a few minutes about my experience, as limited as it is, and now he is going to talk to his supervisor about calling me and maybe bringing me on board with them.  I don't know if it will happen, but I am optimistic.  There's also that old saying that it's not always what you know, but who you know.  We'll see.

You know they don't sell dog meat at the Asian market right? It's actually a great place to get cheap, quality food.

opebo's advice re: keeping that job was the best you've ever received.

No, no, no.  If you are a poor, and you have a job at the Electric Company, you stay there, and say 'yes sir' and 'no sir, and just batten down the hatches and wait.  It will all be over soon enough.  No need to rush it by getting conned up the a**s by some Kiwi b******s and ending up living under a bridge.

Seriously, I know poors who work at the Power Company (true they're from the previous unionized generations so they made $70,000/year, but still), and they survived. (emphasis opebo's)  Every one of them - and they will get to die in hospitals with medical treatments.  Yes, Public Utilities are not government jobs, but they're the next best thing.

his eccentricities overshadowed what made opebo really valuable: practical intelligence.  he understood how things actually work.

Ok, as long as it's not served by a muslim, negro, slant eye, or gayz.

Knowing what Update has become, for that to be on page 1, it now reads as a striking prologue/Greek chorus post for the whole series. Hopefully one day opebo will return upon Bushie's death to deliver to epilogue.

You all might, and I strongly emphasize might, be at least somewhat happy by this news.  I have an interview at a grocery store as part of a mass hiring event that is opening up in the Tulsa area tomorrow at 1300.  I have applied for a grocery clerk position.  It probably wouldn't pay much, but it would be something and it wouldn't be a call center or sales.  It is what you've all been preaching over the past several weeks - blue collar.  It does have customer service, but it is not a call center.

NOTE: If you go searching and find the ad, please do not share it here.  I do not want the name of the grocery store to be made public.  Thanks.
