Following the return of a malignant brain tumor that doctors now concede is "no longer treatable", U.S. Representative Alan Nunnelee has been transferred to hospice care in Tupelo.

Depending on when/if Nunnelee resigns, a special election could coincide with Mississipp's general election this fall.
