Some of this is guessing, but my family does talk politics every so often so I can get a good idea.

Paternal Grandfather - passed away in the early 1980's, but was a union member and I am told a staunch Democrat

1956-1980: Democrats

Paternal Grandmother - also a loyal Democrat through now, loves the Clintons

1956-2012: Democrats
2004 primary: John Edwards
2008 primary: Hillary Clinton
2016: #Ready

Maternal Grandfather - loyal Republican, "old-school" style, would despise the Tea Party had he lived to see it

1952-1956: Republicans
1960: John Kennedy
1964-2008: Republicans
2000 primary: John McCain
2008 primary: John McCain

Maternal Grandmother - a Republican-leaning independent until about 2000 and staunchly Republican since, proud member of the moderate wing of the party

1952-1956: Republicans
1960: John Kennedy
1964: Lyndon Johnson
1968-1992: Republicans
1996: Bill Clinton
2000-2012: Republicans
2000 primary: John McCain
2008 primary: Mitt Romney
2012 primary: Mitt Romney
2016: Wants Chris Christie

My paternal grandparents lived in India, don't know how they voted.

My maternal grandparents spent most of their lives in South Dakota.  My maternal grandmother was a lifelong Democrat until the end.  Even while she was developing dementia, she was outraged over the Iraq war.  I never met my maternal grandfather, but according to my mom, he was a Republican but switched over to vote for JFK (which was very unusual for a Lutheran to like a papist candidate so much Tongue).

No idea but I know the last presidential election my paternal grandfather was alive for was 2008. It was my first time voting and he asked me if I was voting for "McCain or McCoon," and I just kind of slunked away embarrassed. My paternal grandmother in 2012 said she asked God who to vote for and God said "Obama," but I think the reality was she realized what the Republicans wanted to do with Medicare and Social Security.

Maternal grandma is a life-long Democrat.

Republican for most elections I assume, though I know my grandfather voted for Kennedy, Humphrey and in his final election, Bill Clinton.

Liberal Republicans from the northeast (Long Island, NY).  They voted predominantly republican until the 80s when they started to switch over.  Once Big Business started getting too big (per their perception) under Reagan, they switched to voting Democratic.

Paternal Grandparents: Originally from Northeast PA, live in Philly area, very wealthy, big sports fans, religious Catholics- Vote GOP the vast majority of the time, but my grandfather may not if the candidate staunchly supports medical malpractice reform.  Both still living around 70.

Maternal Grandparents: Live in NC, but grandmother originally from SC, very traditionally Southern, Baptists, live a reasonably quiet life with family and friends (but my grandmother likes to go on Church bus trips around the country and, once in a while, go abroad with her friends).  Grandfather likes sailing on his boat.  Both watch a ton of ACC basketball.  Pretty much always split their votes, with my grandfather voting GOP.  Both still living around 80.

My Dad's Father:

A Democat but a very conservative one. Yet he loved Kennedy with a passion and probably voted for him in 1960 when he and my grandmother still lived in Florida. My dad said he was always saddened and angered when and after he was killed. In 64 I have no clue but I know in 1968 he supported Wallace and liked him as much as Kennedy. He was angered when he was shot too. IDK if he liked Carter or not but probably not due to his lack of backbone. He liked Reagan I believe because he of his foreign policy. He died in 1989 due to lung cancer so who knows how he would have went. I see him being more of a Republican now.

Dad's Mother

She's always been a lifelong Democrat. She liked Kennedy and Johnson but not Wallace I don't think. Never mentioned McGovern to me but I know she was a Carter fan. In fact she told me once: "I loved Jimmy he was never given a chance the poor guy." Never asked her about Reagan or Bush Sr but she loved Clinton as much as Carter and loathed Dubya. In 2008 she supported Hillary and wasn't enthusiastic about Obama. Have no clue who she liked in 2012.

Mother's Parents:

They are both loyal Republicans. As far as I remember around 2000 or so they were pro Bush and anti Gore/Kerry. They voted McCain and Romney in 2012. My grandfather particularly loaths Obama.

All of my grandparents are dead now, but I vaguely remember my dad telling me his father was a Republican and his mother was a Democrat. I have no idea what my mom's parents were, though I'm pretty sure they were both Democrats.

Unfortunately, however, my parents are both Republican...

Paternal grandfather: always Republican, except perhaps once for Roosevelt.
Maternal grandmother: likewise.

Maternal grandfather: Roosevelt 1916, after that Republican.
Maternal grandmother: she never discussed politics.

One voted Republican until 2004 as that's when he got rich friends who were Democrats (Caifornian)

The other voted straight Democratic but maybe could have voted Pub in '72 or '84 but I doubt it (Irish Catholic from Boston)

The only one I know with any certainty:

Maternal Grandmother
1960: Kennedy
1964: Johnson
1968: Nixon
1972: Nixon
1976: Carter
1980: Carter
1984: Reagan
1988: ?
1992: ?
1996: ?
2000: ?
2004: Bush
2008: McCain
2012: Romney

As you can see, I don't know how my grandma voted between 1988 and 2000.  I always assumed she voted for Dukakis in '88, but mostly because my mother worked on his campaign.  I think she supported Bush in '92 and Clinton in '96, but I don't know for sure because she may have missed a year in that time.

Straight Democratic, though my maternal grandfather may've voted Bush in 2000. He was tricked by the whole "compassionate-conservative" thing.

Mother's parents I'm pretty sure are lifelong Democrats, except for 1968 when I think my grandmother abstained after McCarthy did not win the nomination.

Father's parents I honestly never talked to about it, and haven't heard much about their political leanings. If I had to guess, I'd say they were pretty close to bellwether voters except for Gore in '00, Kerry in '04, and I think possibly Romney in '12. I can also see them voting Ford in '76.

Pretty much Republican the whole way through for both of them, except Carter '76 and LBJ '64.

Paternal grandparents (born 1934): Grew up in a very wealthy part of Oslo, have voted Conservative all their lives. Having held public sector jobs all their lives, they have always been staunch defenders of the welfare state. Like most people of their generation in Norway, they are still skeptical about immigration and other cultures. My grandfather also worked for the UN in Baghdad in the 60s, which helped shape his views on Islam and Islamic immigration. Unfortunately, he is so disillusioned that he can't be bothered to vote anymore.

Maternal grandparents (born 1933 and 1935): Staunchly Catholic, lower middle class from smalltown Pennsylvania. Mostly liberal on economic issues and moderate on social issues (you keep out of my face, I keep out of yours). They may have voted Eisenhower in '56, definitely voted Kennedy in '60 and LBJ in '64. From the way my grandmother talks about the late '60s, she - or both of them - may have voted Nixon in '68. I'm not sure how McGovern's liberalism sat with them in '72. From there on in, I'm pretty sure it's been a straight Democratic vote - never heard them talk about Ronald Reagan with any kind of enthusiasm.

I answered this vaguely before, but here are my actual guesses:

MATERNAL GRANDPARENTS
Grandpa Gustafson: 100% Swedish, grew up Lutheran but was always more spiritual and let my grandma raise my mom and her siblings loosely Catholic.  Owned a Dairy Queen and worked as a milkman on the side.  Your typical swing voter who voted on whom he thought he could trust (didn't have strong political stances).
Grandma (Sterdavent): Mix of English, German, Dutch and SOMETHING Eastern European, LOL.  Grew up in a strict Catholic family (went to Catholic school) and was adamant about NOT raising her kids like that.  Came from a poor family and was a pretty partisan Democrat.

GRANDPA
1956 - Eisenhower
1956 - Eisenhower
1960 - Kennedy
1964 - Johnson
1968 - Humphrey
1972 - Nixon
1976 - Carter
1980 - Reagan
1984 - Reagan
1988 - Bush
1992 - Clinton
1996 - Clinton
2000 - Bush
2004 - Kerry
2008 - Obama

Died in April 2012.  I remember him saying 2008 was his least enthusiastic vote, as he thought both candidates came off as out-of-touch to a small town guy like him.

GRANDMA
1960 - Kennedy
1964 - Johnson
1968 - Humphrey
1972 - McGovern
1976 - Carter
1980 - Carter
1984 - Mondale
1988 - Dukakis
1992 - Clinton
1996 - Clinton
2000 - Gore
2004 - Kerry
2008 - McCain
2012 - Did Not Vote
2016 - Says she'll support Hillary but likely no other Democrat she's heard from so far ... I could see Sanders winning her over, honestly.

PATERNAL GRANDPARENTS
Grandpa Heinrich: 100% German, raised Lutheran.  He was a small business owner just like his father, and both were 100% hackish, pro-civil rights Republicans.  He still worships Lincoln, and his father called FDR the "Great Destroyer," LOL.
Grandma (Diltz): 50% German, 50% English/Irish, raised Lutheran.  Not political at all and likely voted pretty generically Republican with a few exceptions.

GRANDPA
1948 - Dewey
1952 - Eisenower
1956 - Eisenhower
1960 - Nixon
1964 - Did Not Vote
1968 - Nixon
1972 - Nixon
1976 - Ford
1980 - Reagan
1984 - Reagan
1988 - Bush
1992 - Bush
1996 - Dole
2000 - Bush
2004 - Bush
2008 - McCain
2012 - Romney
2016 - Says he remembers Kasich and wants him to be President, doesn't know enough about the others.

GRANDMA
1960 - Nixon
1964 - Johnson
1968 - Nixon
1972 - Nixon
1976 - Ford
1980 - Reagan
1984 - Reagan
1988 - Bush
1992 - Bush
1996 - Dole
2000 - Bush
2004 - Bush
2008 - McCain
2012 - Romney
2016 - I don't think she's even thought about it, but I'm positive she'll be voting in the GOP primary, probably for the least "Southern sounding" candidate.
