I am home from the interview.  I think I did pretty well.   They gave me a little test to see where my skills are at.  I think I did pretty well on the test.  I should know by the middle of next week about this job.  Apparently, there are two positions open.  I also found out that the interview I had last Friday fell through.  I think my Tourette's did me in.  They said I was looking down too much.  Sometimes, my Tourette's causes me to clutch my head into my chest, which causes me to look down, but they took that as being insecure and anti-social.  My recruiter sent them an email today, as well as today's company, addressing that so they know.  For the company from last Friday it was probably too little too late.  Apparently, from the feedback I got, if I had not cocked my head like that or if they had known why it happens, then I probably would have been looking at a start date...  It is what it is, but I hate that my Tourette's, something that is out of my control, would cost me a job, but life is not fair, so I've got to move on.  Hopefully this doesn't happen tomorrow, because I applied directly with them and thus I have no recruiter or no middleman to vouch for me.

Do you claim Tourette's as a disability on job apps?  And if not, why not?

I haven't thought about it, to be quite honest, because it's not a debilitating condition anymore.  I guess it would help, though.

Yea, it would explain some of your mannerisms.  Don't let your pride get in the way of that one.  Disabling doesn't always mean "not walking" or "pooing one's pants".

That's a good point.  I will start doing that on future job applications.  Should I put it on my resume?  If so, where?

No you don't put that on your resume!  But you absolutely tell employers if you suffer from a condition that might make you come off as socially awkward.  If you aren't going to get rid of that disasta-stache then at least put down your condition on the application.

Bushie may be on to something. The cost of living in Kenya is probably far cheaper in Kenya than in Oklahoma. If he can offshore his mooching, he may be able to extend the duration.

African countries have higher living costs than Asian and the cheapest African countries are actually in North Africa. Having a Western lifestyle in Kenya is more expensive than you would think. He needs to go native, so a Kenyan wife is a must.

Does Bushie know there are tons of Molodovan orphans who could do with some loving?

Bushie, what's your view on Pope Francis coming to speak to a joint session of Congress in September?

I'll be interested in what he has to say.  Personally, I'm pleased that he will be the first pontiff to address Congress in this fashion.  I'll be listening with an open mind with no prejudices.

we will never know what happened between allison and odf.

however, he never seemed really into her...so i guess it is best that he moved on instead of forcing some ridiculous engagement.

i cant believe how bushie lacks any sympathy or guilt for what he puts papa through.  the man has to work like a dog just so bushie can have super duper cable and eat braums every day.

I think Bushie was never really into her and only wanted to have someone to call his future wife like a good Christian man that he is. Deep down though, he wasn't attracted to her because she was as big as he was, and he probably thinks he's entitled to a girl who's a size 2 or smaller.

She knew this and confronted him about it. I doubt Bushie ever was affectionate towards her and probably had to be forced to kiss her. He probably was really cold and distant towards her and then they broke it off.

As we all know, he was proclaiming publicly that she was his future wife minutes before the breakup.

Are you aware that he rejects a literal interpretation of the Bible? Does that affect your opinion of the Bishop of Rome?

It doesn't affect the fact that I will listen to him with an open mind and without prejudice.

I know, and there's a Vatican observatory and most of the Vatican scientists accept evolution too! #fakeChristians.

Remember, he's forcing Papa to pay for his Tulsa Apartment so Bushie doesn't have to spend time with him.

I have felt quite a bit better all day today.  I think the bug is just about out of here.  I had a little nausea earlier this evening, but that has since subsided.  My body temperature is normal.  I am neither cold nor hot.  I don't hurt anywhere except a small headache that is totally unrelated to the stomach bug.  I only have one place I have to go tomorrow and that is the 1400 interview only 6 miles away.

Glad you were able to survive another illness without having to touch that darned water. If only the dehydration headaches would go away without having to touch the stuff! I'll keep you in my prayers.

Bushie never answered my question about whether I'm a fake Christian for reading Genesis allegorically.

I will never dismiss someone's Christianity as fake.  I am not God.  I do not know their heart like God does.  There are things I disagree with, but I do not dismiss a person's salvation because of disagreements.  I don't even call President Obama's Christianity as fake as many of my conservative friends have.

I had a small hamburger from McDonald's about 1400, no fries, and nothing since.

You had dinner at 2pm?!?

So tomorrow night will be the spaghetti?

Since you're likely to keep eating McDonald's, here are some recommendations:
1) Drink water or at the very least, diet soda (I know it has some health concerns, but getting weight down is far more important and if he can't stand water, it will have to do)
2) DON'T EAT THE BUN.  That's a ton of empty, needless calories.  Ideally, make it a Jimmy John's-like "Unburger" wrapped in lettuce, if possible (or just eat it with knife/fork and order salad on the side)
3) If you're hungry at home, just eat peanuts, microwaved vegetables, fresh fruit, and dark chocolate.  These are far better snack choices than what you're having right now.

I considered it a late lunch, but still wanted to eat light because the stomach bug hasn't completely gotten out of my system, yet.

Tomorrow is Friday night.  It's a weekend.  Because of the big, I still won't pig out, but I'll eat what I want to.  Spaghetti will wait until
Monday.

Has anyone else connected the dots to realize that Jeff would probably support the annual purge from The Purge?

This stomach bug has been cruel to me.  I have only had two medium sized meals in the last 72 hours.  I haven't eaten in over 7 hours, and I'm really not hungry.  I'm not trying to go anorexic or anything, but I've just been afraid to eat.  I anticipate a light-eating weekend.  I've lost 4 pounds so far this week, and I bet I will lose more by morning.  I was at 290 on Tuesday morning.  This morning, I was down to 286 and I can see lower 280's tomorrow.

So Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights will perpetually be nights when you eat out?  Only Monday-Thursday are acceptable nights to cook your own dinner?

You're going to lose 3-4 pounds or so in ~24 hours?
