The Lion and the Rose,
the II ASOIAF Game:

Cast:

Joffrey Baratheon, King in the Iron Throne (Mr. X)
Aegon Targaryen, claimant to the Iron Throne (dkrolga)
Stannis Baratheon, King in the Narrow Sea and the Wall (Dereich)
Petyr Baelish, Lord Paramount of the Trident (SJoyce)
Prince Euron Greyjoy, claimant to the Iron Islands (Talleyrand)
Tyrion Lannister, Lord of Casterly Rock (Dr. Cynic)
Roose Bolton, Lord of the Dreadfort and Winterfell (Elkins)
Walder Frey, Lord of the Twins (Rpryor03)
Doran Martell, Prince of Dorne (Cranberry)
Mace Tyrell, Lord of Highgarden (Spamage)

Rules:

-We will play two month turns (to account for the increase in intrigue) that comprise an early phase with the player challenges, the mid phase in the form of character POV’s (two or three, depending on my inspiration) and a military-political update, all turns to vary from four days to a week tops.

-You are encouraged to make public announcements and public discussion in the game thread and you must send your military disposition and moves by PM. You may also design various plots, which must be sent via PM along with the co-conspirators. Depending on the character, his assets and a roll dice, these may work with varying success or be discovered. If your plot is discovered, you will lose prestige and you won’t be able to plot for the next two turns.

-I will open several topics for the game to make it more orderly, six to be precise: The Rules and Sign Up thread, the General thread (for updates, game commentary and so on) and four threads to represent the main areas of Westeros: North (the Wall to Moat Cailin), South (from the Riverlands to Dorne), King’s Landing (exclusively covering intrigue in the city) and Essos. In the case of King’s Landing, not attending Small Council sessions results in penalties.

-All players will have stats that will cover their legitimacy, their prestige (which has consequences in negotiations with NPC’s) and their money (we will use gold dragons instead of stags). Some of the players will be able to use their "special ability" or those of their allies, something that in the beginning is limited to Stannis (Melisandre can use fire magic), Daenerys (Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal) and Euron (Qarth magic). With time and with new characters we might see new skills (Thoros of Myr for Lady Stoneheart, Ghost for Jon Snow, and so on).

-I will use a dice to determine most of the events, meaning plots, battles and negotiation with characters that are not playable. The war system will be similar in the sense that we will use the old virtual dices (with extra dices for each side depending on major advantages like terrain, morale, commanders and so on), but I will balance results that are deemed to be too unrealistic. Winter is coming to Westeros, so be wary about the effect the seasons and the terrain have on your troops!

-The use of Faceless men is strictly forbidden unless the player himself goes to Braavos to sign the contract with them (contract that will be clear and not subject to abuse), and the prices will be much higher this time. You can deploy assassins against rivals for a high price, but if they fail they will cost you prestige. Furthermore, if one of your assassins gets caught trying to kill a player, they will get a free assassin that they can deploy against you.

-Note that we don’t know everything about Planetos and its borders, so my maps have been made on a lot of guesswork and with the purpose of being practical (which is why I have assumed the Free Cites control most of the lands near them). I know the borders are ugly, no need to tell me!

-As always, I reserve the right to override player actions if they are too out of character.

Early 300 AL: Turn One (I)Sad

General View:

A new year has begun, bringing a new era. In the span of a few months Westeros has bled, bringing the deaths of Robert and Renly Baratheon, Eddard, Robb and Catelyn Stark, Hoster Tully, Jon and Lysa Arryn, Tywin and Cersei Lannister, Viserys Targaryen and Balon Greyjoy, to name a few. With most of the old guard from Robert's Rebellion gone from the stage, it's time for the younger generation to step in. Winter is already extending through the North, how much will Westeros bleed from now on?

Player Crisis:

Aegon Targaryen:
-Prestige: 0/10 (Currently thought as dead)
-Gold: 10.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 0/10 (He has no claim until he reveals his identity)

-Greetings, Prince Aegon. It has been sixteen years since the sack of Kings Landing, and it seems that the time has come for House Targaryen to rise like a phoenix. Standing behind you in the luxury of Pentos are the powerful magister Illyrio and the exiled Lord Jon Connington, along with a retinue of people who have become your friends. Illyrio has pledged the Pentoshi fleet to cross the Narrow Sea, and with Connington’s connections it is possible to win over the Golden Company despite their Blackfyre allegiance.

-Will you go to Volantis along with Connington to secure the Golden Company while remaining as Young Griff? Or will you take a different path?

Joffrey Baratheon:
-Prestige: 6/10 (Despised, but has destroyed many of his enemies)
-Gold: 600.000 GD. (Crown heavily in debt to the Faith, the IB and House Lannister)
-Legitimacy: 6/10 (More solid than the past year, but there are still doubts)

-Greetings, your grace. While the past events have been rather chaotic, there are many issues that you need to address as the King, even if the Kingdom is technically under regency.

-Your marriage with Queen Margaery is now a fact, but the marriage was not consummated due to the events of the Purple Wedding. Will you take actions in that front?

-Several Lords and members of the court have approached you pledging their support and asking for the privilege of serving you, the more notable ones being former maester Qyburn, the dashing sailor Aurane Waters, Lord Gyles Rosby and the sons of Lord Janos Slynt. Will you form a formal court faction despite your youth?

-One of the issues that you discussed with your mother before she died was that of a Royal Army to serve the crown, although she dismissed the notion as ludicrous. Will you try to revive those plans in some way?

Stannis Baratheon:
-Prestige: 4/10 (Low after the Blackwater defeat)
-Gold: 200.000 GD. (Minor Iron Bank funding)
-Legitimacy: 6/10 (Same as Joffrey)

-Greetings, your grace, and many congratulations on your resounding victory against the wildlings at the Wall. With this triumph you have given your claim and new chance to succeed, but can you take over a badly fractured and shocked North?

-The first issue to solve is that of the Night’s Watch, which will soon start an election for its Lord Commander, the favorite to win being Lord Janos Slynt, a Joffrey loyalist. Will you let the Watch elect its own commander or intervene in some way?

-The second pressing issue comes with the thousands of wildlings now defeated. Allowing them to cross the Wall could gain you valuable allies, and alienate the Night’s Watch. Throwing them out means they could form another army, or that they could become White Walkers. There’s also the issue of King Mance Rayder, who by law is a traitor to the realm and the Night’s Watch. What will you do with the wildlings?

-Finally, most of the Northern Lords seem unwilling to back you, but perhaps some of them could be persuaded with the right efforts. An alternate way is seeking an allied Lord of Winterfell, and with most of the Starks dead Jon Snow could play that role, provided that he is legitimized and accepts an offer.

Tyrion Lannister:
-Prestige: 6/10 (Now Lord of Casterly Rock)
-Gold: 3.500.000 GD. (Sizable fortune, but going down)
-Legitimacy: 10/10 (Unchallenged as Lord of the Westerlands)

-Lord Lannister, my condolences for the huge loss in your family. You are now the new Lord Paramount of the Westerlands, and it won’t be easy to fill the void left by Tywin Lannister.

-As the new Lord you must now determine how you will deal with your new vassals, with special focus given to the former Stark loyalists in House Westerling (with Queen Jeyne still a part of the enemy forces in Riverrun). Furthermore, your father closed a major deal with House Frey, and you must decide whether to honor the terms or change them.

-Your daily life seems to have taken a turn for the worse after your arranged marriage to Sansa Stark, and you must decide whether to consummate your marriage and where to send your wife, as King Joffrey has repeatedly threatened her in Kings Landing. There’s also the issue of your concubine, Shae, who could harm your standing with the Westerlords and remind them of your grandfather Tytos.

-It seems the time has come to rearrange the members of House Lannister itself, as you have at least three to four adult Lannisters who could play a large role serving as your generals, envoys or even vassals: Your uncle Ser Kevan, Master of Laws, your cousins Ser Damion and Ser Daven, and Kevan’s son Lancel, now Lord of Darry.

Mace Tyrell:
-Prestige: 7/10 (Father-in-law to the King)
-Gold: 3.000.000 GD. (Currently spending a lot in King's Landing and the army)
-Legitimacy: 10/10 (Unchallenged as Lord of the Reach)

-Greetings, Lord Tyrell, and many congratulations in your new role as father-in-law to King Joffrey. The following issues need your immediate attention:

-House Florent has been declared traitorous by the crown and their seat of Brightwater Keep granted to your son Garlan, although the garrison is loyal and experienced. How will you proceed to take this fortress and its lands?

-House Tyrell is no doubt rich, and thanks to its wealth it has been possible to keep the Crownlands and Kings Landing fed. That said, having such a large army in the field and feeding the city is costing very large sums of money, and some recommend sending parts of the army home given the lack of immediate threats. What will you do?

Early 300 AL: Turn One (II)Sad

Roose Bolton:
-Prestige: 4/10 (Low after Red Wedding)
-Gold: 100.000 GD. (Riverlands's loot and Walda's dowry)
-Legitimacy: 3/10

-Lord Bolton, congratulations on your new titles and wife, it must certainly be an excellent time for you despite the complications that lie ahead. You have just arrived on the Dreadfort with your wife and some soldiers led by Walton Steelshanks and Locke following a complicated trip from the Twins, and there’s a lot to be done to secure the North.

-The first pressing issue is that of Moat Cailin, as the fortress is held by an Ironborn garrison that blocks your army. Moat Cailin could be assaulted, but the losses could cripple your forces at the very start of your reign. Theon Greyjoy could prove useful, but he has been badly damaged by torture.

-The Starks were very popular across the North, and thus replacing them will not be easy. As the new Lord Paramount and Warden you will have to secure the loyalty of your potential vassals, and be careful while doing so.

-Finally, the issue of succession is also a complicated one. So far your only son is Ramsay Snow, the bastard of the Dreadfort, but recent events have made you doubt whether he is up for the task. Should he be legitimized and made your heir? Should you try and have a son with Fat Walda?

Euron Greyjoy:
-Prestige: 5/10 (Good military reputation)
-Gold: 20.000 GD (Bounty from sacking ships)
-Legitimacy: 3/10

-Greetings, Prince Euron. While your arrival on Pyke the day after King Balon’s death has raised some suspicion, nobody can blame you for his death. Your brother Aeron has called for a Kingsmoot to elect the next king given Theon’s condition as a Bolton prisoner, and Princess Asha and Prince Victarion are soon to arrive to press their own claims. You may not have an army, but you have an arsenal of warlocks from Qarth and the horn found near Old Valyria.

-Will you contest the Kingsmoot and claim the Seastone Chair?

Petyr Baelish:
-Prestige: 5/10
-Gold: 1.000.000 GD
-Legitimacy: 2/10 (Challenged as Lord Regent and Lord Paramount)

-Good day, Lord Baelish. The past two years have been particularly good for you and your household, as House Baelish now holds Harrenhal and you stand in a position to control two regions of Westeros. Can you rise even higher?

-The first issue to solve is that of the Valelords, as a group calling themselves “Lords Declarant” has marched on the Eyrie led by Yohn Royce as a response to Lysa’s mysterious death. They plan to take the regency from you, and Nestor Royce warns that the Bloody Gate won’t hold them back.

-Although your powerbase seems to be more likely to be built in the Vale, you technically are the Lord Paramount of the Trident, and Harrenhal is supposed to be yours. Will you try to claim your new title and fortress despite the chaos and the curse of Harrenhal or you will wait before intervening in the Riverlands?

Walder Frey:
-Prestige: 3/10 (Despised after Red Wedding)
-Gold: 200.000 GD
-Legitimacy: 10/10

-Lord Frey, congratulations on a major accomplishment for House Frey. Your family is now to enact several marriage alliances across the Riverlands and with House Lannister, and if you can manage to enforce the terms the terms then House Frey will become one of the strongest in the realm.

-One of the main conditions of the Frey-Lannister arrangement is that Riverrun will go to your House, but several obstacles must be finished before the fortress can be taken. House Mallister would block any Frey army marching South, and the Blackfish still has a sizable garrison at the fortress.

-Thanks to an impressive dowry in silver, Roose Bolton is now your son in law. House Frey would benefit with a Bolton ruled North, but the Boltons are likely to need a lot of assistance in order to win, not to mention that the many northerner Houses offer an excellent change to getting rid of your sons and daughters through marriage.

-As of this year you have reached the impressive age of ninety years or so, and to many it is becoming evident that you may die very soon. With the death of your heir, Ser Stevron, House Frey could find itself on a succession crisis should you die soon. Will you take steps to solve this matter?

Doran Martell:
-Prestige: 7/10 (Widely respected)
-Gold: 500.000 GD
-Legitimacy: 10/10

-Prince Doran, good day. As the first year of the War of the Five Kings is over, Dorne now stands at a much better position now, having its army intact, a betrothal to Myrcella Baratheon and a seat in the Small Council. How high can the sun and the spear rise?

-Kings Landing is now in a complicated situation due to the conflicting interests of Houses Baratheon, Tyrell and Lannister, and while Prince Oberyn is focused on bringing Ser Gregor Clegane down he is certainly not ignoring the ongoing events. Will you send him instructions or additional help?

-So far Dorne maintains its neutrality while having a small army is already gathered near Sunspear, but some of your Lords believe it would be wise to call some of your banners and send an army to secure the Prince’s Pass. Will you incur in that expense?

-Finally, it seems there are some issues with the succession of Dorne. Princess Arianne grows more resentful every day at being ignored, and she is jealous of the apparent favoritism that Prince Quentyn enjoys. She may not say quiet for too long.

Right, we're ready! Please remember that your military and intrigue orders are via PM, the rest can be public if you desire (and I hope the players will roleplay to increase activity). I'll send a PM to all players as well.

This thread is for updates and game commentary, so your dispositions and in-character posts go in the regional threads!

Things seem to be progressing just fine, I've already recieved very interesting messages. We will have the POV phase tomorrow afternoon, and it will probably include some of these characters:

-Jon Snow or Melisandre at the Wall
-Jon Connington in Volantis
-Grand Maester Pycelle (or perhaps Kevan) in King's Landing
-Theon Greyjoy in Moat Cailin
-Asha Greyjoy in Pyke

Then you will have Thursday to react, and Turn Two (Early to Mid 300) starts on Friday.

I apologize if the POV updates are not satisfactory, there's only so much I can do, xD

You react and respond through Thursday, and Friday is the start of turn Two. Mace Tyrell now commands the Iron Throne armies as Hand of the King, and I remind him and Joffrey that no armies (and no dispositions regarding the Riverlords) have been sent to the Riverlands.

The turn is over, no further commands to be acknowledged. We will have a small update on some recent events and then we'll move into turn two before the day is gone.

Early 300 AL: Aftermath:

The Night of the Lion and the Stag:

That tensions were high between King Joffrey and Lord Tyrion Lannister was more than obvious, but nobody could have expected that their feud would explode in such a violent way. In the aftermath of the crucial Small Council session that gave King Joffrey personal rule and ended up with the arrest of Prince Oberyn Martell, Lord Tyrion took the decision to abandon the capital. Unexpectedly, the Gold Cloaks rushed to take him under house arrest on the orders of the crown, a tense situation that escalated into a fight when Ser Humfrey Waters tried to kill Ser Bronn of the Blackwater. Lord Tyrion and his retinue managed to leave the capital, but not after a series of bloody street fights that led to the deaths of Ser Humfrey and dozens of Gold Cloaks and Lannister guardsmen. Riots also broke out when the Gold Cloaks stormed several brothers in the city and took dozens of whores into the dungeons of the Red Keep.

Ser Balon Swann of the Kingsguard got killed in a failed attempt to take the command of the Lannister host outside the capital, and with the Tyrell forces confused and unable to react Lord Tyrion left with some 4,000 troops, leaving the rest of the army under the command of Ser Kevan Lannister, who tried his best to contain the situation and defuse any further tension. Alas, the next morning proved almost as disastrous as the Night of the Lion and the Stag, for Grand Maester Pycelle was brutally stabbed to death in his chambers. According to Lord Varys, the evidence pointed out to Commander Ser Addam Marbrand, who barely escaped arrest with his life and convinced Ser Kevan to take the rest of the Lannister host back to the Westerlands.

Lord Tyrion was already in an extremely troubling position, and in addition to that he was unable to reach Casterly Rock. Just as his forces were crossing the Gold Road almost three hundred men launched a surprise attack on the Lannister host, wounding Lord Tyrion twice with a crossbow and almost managing to kidnap him. Eventually Lord Roland Crakehall was able to destroy most of the attacking force, and Lord Tyrion had to take shelter on the Deep Den while his wounds heal. Word has spread through the Westerlands that the attack was either organized by disgruntled soldiers or his own vassals, although the liege loyalists - led by Lord Crakehall - blame the Crown.

Riverlander Campaign:

Reportedly disgusted at the attempted arrest of his brother, Lord Commander Jaime Lannister quickly accepted Lord Tyrell's commands to lead the campaign to subdue the Riverlords, and soon enough he joined Lord Tarly's host at Maidenpool. With the Tully and Stark loyalist forces broken and demoralized, the campaign was swift and a triumph for the Iron Throne. Harrenhal fell after the garrison executed castellan Vargo Hoat and surrendered the castle to Ser Jaime, all while Lord Tarly put garrisons across the region to rebuild it and hang the outlaws. Eventually both commanders joined with half the main army and got to Riverrun to take over the custody of Lord Edmure Tully. As of now, Ser Brynden Blackfish refuses to yield the castle, but most of the Riverlords - including Houses Bracken, Mallister and Piper - have bent the knee, with the exception of Lord Blackwood and some of the minor Lords of the Trident.

Ironborn Northern Campaign:

Balon Greyjoy's death left the Ironborn in a complicated situation in the North, and Princess Asha Greyjoy was quite insistent that their forces would not be able to conquer the entire region. To the surprise of the Northerners, new King Euron Greyjoy ordered an almost complete withdrawal from the region, evacuating the garrisons of Deepwood Motte and the Stony Shore while taking many highborn captives to the Iron Islands.

Taking the initiative Lord Bolton gathered the forces of Houses Dustin, Ryswell and Hornwood to siege Moat Cailin from the north, and after a brief negotiation with the captive Prince Theon Greyjoy the Ironborn agreed to surrender. Ramsay Snow, the bastard of the Dreadfort, ordered the flaying of the entire garrison, and Lord Bolton managed to get his army back in the North while taking credit for driving the invaders out. That said, most Houses of the North remain neutral, with House Karstark currently declaring for Stannis Baratheon.

A New Lord Commander for the Night's Watch:
After a series of deadlocked votes in the election to succeed Lord Jeor Mormont as Commander of the Night's Watch, it seems the Wall finally has a man to lead them. With Lord Janos Slynt's candidacy destroyed after he was caught trying to bribe some of his brothers and with mounting pressure, a failed attempt to make Jon Snow the Lord Commanded led to a massive loss of votes for Cotter Pyke, which in turn forced an end to the balloting at the next attempt when Ser Denys Mallister barely won the required votes, finally winning the election at his third and final candidacy.

Siege of Brightwater Keep:

Seizing on the opportunity to get rid of the threat of House Florent, the Tyrells sent a large part of their Army of the Crownlands under Ser Garlan Tyrell - who was therefore not present during the Kings Landing crisis - to finally capture Brightwater Keep. Although a large siege was expected, Ser Garlan led a surprise attack that combined with the opening of the gates by Tyrell agents led him to capture the fortress. With this, the second son of Highgarden is now Lord Garlan Tyrell of Brightwater Keep.

Weddings, births and deaths:

Deaths: Grand Maester Pycelle, Ser Balon Swann of the Kingsguard, Ser Humfrey Waters, Dalla, Vargo Hoat, Ralf Kenning.
Weddings: Joffrey Baratheon to Margaery Tyrell, Willas Tyrell to Talla Tarly, Roose Bolton to Walda Frey.
Births: None.

Early to Mid 300 AL: Turn Two (I)Sad

General View:

While the beginning of the year has brought significant military victories for the Iron Throne, dark clouds appear on the horizon. King Joffrey Baratheon and Lord Tyrion Lannister engaged in a bitter feud, putting the alliance of the Lion and the Rose in jeopardy while Dorne rises in rage and new claimants appear on the horizon. With Joffrey earning the nickname "Maegor the Second" in Kings Landing, can the Iron Throne survive its internal crisis? Furthermore, can the claimants to the throne seize this chance to break the disadvantages created by the Battle of the Blackwater and the Red Wedding?

Player Crisis:

Aegon Targaryen:
-Prestige: 2/10 (Not revealed to the public)
-Gold: 20.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 0/10 (He has no claim until he reveals his identity)

-Congratulations, Your Grace! The Golden Company is yours, and after a major effort on behalf of your allies your troops and the Pentoshi fleet stand mostly ready in Pentos. The time has come for you to decide whether to cross the Narrow Sea or not, and while Captain General Strickland warns you to be cautious and wishes for Daenerys to join your cause, your new captains beg you to march on Westeros now. What will you do?

Joffrey Baratheon:
-Prestige: 4/10 (Quickly losing support)
-Gold: 550.000 GD. (Money invested on rebuilding the army and navy)
-Legitimacy: 6/10

-While the Iron Throne remains triumphant in the battlefields, it is evident that the Crown faces a major crisis with the Lannister host leaving for the Westerlands and with the refusal of the Lannisters to take the offices currently held by Lord Tyrion. Furthermore, your rule grows more and more unstable over Kings Landing, as hordes of refugees flood the city running away from the war, many religious fanatics among them.

-The first immediate issue is that of the Small Council (no session this time due to the lack of members). In a swift stroke you have lost your Masters of Coin and Laws, the Commander of the City Watch and the Grand Maester, and while the last one will be chosen by the Citadel the others need replacement. You can leave it up to Lord Mace if you wish, but this could be a chance to build up your faction. Also, with the death of Ser Balon Swann a new spot for the Kingsguard is open.

-Regarding your close allies, Admiral Aurane Waters is making some progress with the fleet, but he argues that the Crown should heavily invest in dromons, huge warships capable of dealing with the strongest fleets in Westeros. Qyburn has begun experimentation with your new prisoners, and his reports indicate that the victims have proved more than useful.

-Prince Oberyn Martell has decided not to face a trial, and he has demanded a trial by combat. Who will be the champion of the crown?

Stannis Baratheon:
-Prestige: 5/10 .
-Gold: 195.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 6/10.

-Congratulations on winning the allegiance of House Karstark, Your Grace, hopefully more Houses of the North will follow.

-The first issue to solve is that of Jon Snow, who has decided to request his own conditions for the legitimization deal, mainly that of ensuring that the North will be able to retain its own gods, an idea that Melisandre has advised you to reject.

-The wildlings have crossed the Wall and Melisandre has burned King Mance in quite the spectacular fashion, claiming that his King's blood will help your campaign against the Boltons. By now you should have around a thousand wildlings capable of fighting, will you make them join your army?

-Ser Denys Mallister has been elected Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, and while he is a gentleman he doesn't look like the type that will simply follow your commands. What will you demand of the Watch now that a Lord Commander has been chosen?

Tyrion Lannister:
-Prestige: 5/10 (Low after the crisis)
-Gold: 3.480.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 7/10 (There are rumours about a potential plot against you)

-My Lord, it seems that the tides have risen against House Lannister once again. A conflict with the Iron Throne seems near, and while your uncle and cousins have pledged their loyalty you are wounded and in a complicated situation. You must thread carefully.

-Many of your vassals seem to be quite faithful, with Lord Crakehall as one of the potential leaders for the loyalists. But some of the rumours released after the Gold Road ambush say that House Westerling may be behind these events. How will you proceed?

Mace Tyrell:
-Prestige: 8/10 (Now Hand of the King)
-Gold: 2.950.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 10/10.

-Congratulations both on your son's marriage and your new appointment as Hand of the King, Lord Mace. The future seems truly bright for House Tyrell!

-The first issues to solve come from King's Landing, and they concern your new role as Hand. First things first, the Iron Bank of Braavos has sent an envoy demanding the debt payments to be resumed, and they require an immediate answer. Furthermore, the deaths and resignations in the Small Council create an excellent chance to increase the power of House Tyrell. It is also rumoured that the Citadel may appoint your kinsman, Archmaester Gormon.

-Randyll Tarly requires instructions as to how to proceed with the Siege of Riverrun and the defiance of the Blackwoods and the Trident Lords, as the Freys have not moved from the Twins.

-With the Reach having a very large navy to protect the Throne, more and more of the Crownlander courts have called for the Redwyne navy to sail to Blackwater Bay to protect the city and potentially move against Dragonstone. Will you give them the order to sail?

Early 300 AL: Turn One (II)Sad

Roose Bolton:
-Prestige: 6/10 (On the rise after Moat Cailin)
-Gold: 95.000 GD. (Riverlands's loot and Walda's dowry)
-Legitimacy: 5/10

-Lord Bolton, congratulations on your new allies and your resounding victory in Moat Cailin. With the Ironborn out of the North, focusing on Stannis Baratheon is now possible.

-Among the issues to solve, Ramsay has claimed victory and has asked to be formally legitimized along with being made Lord of Winterfell. Will you do so? If so, Ramsay would become an excellent chance to forge a new alliance by marriage.

-So far Lord Frey has remained silent about the Frey forces coming up North, and while Houses Hornwood, Ryswell and Dustin seem quite sincere in their support, others are a lot more ambiguous, with Lord Wyman Manderly being the potential leader of the undecided. How will you secure his support and the aid of the other houses?

Euron Greyjoy:
-Prestige: 7/10.
-Gold: 150.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 7/10.

-What is dead may never die, King Euron. You lead the Ironborn now, and with your forces completely out of the North the Ironfleet is ready to sail at your command. With the exception of Princess Asha and the defiant and outspoken Lord Baelor Blacktyde most of the Lords and Captains are eager to conquer the lands you promised and eventually see the dragons you could bind with your horn, and with Westeros filled with vulnerable targets the future is open to your decisions. What will you do?

Petyr Baelish:
-Prestige: 4/10.
-Gold: 1.000.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 1/10.

-While Harrenhal has been cleared of enemy troops, your situation has become absolutely disastrous. The Lords Declarant continue to siege the Eyrie, and Ser Nestor warns that the food is almost gone. If you don't react and find a way to stop the wrath of the Lords Declarant then the fortress will have to surrender!

Walder Frey:
-Prestige: 2/10.
-Gold: 200.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 8/10.

-Lord Frey, it seems a crisis is rapidly developing in the Twins. For the past few days you have noticed strange flavors in the food, and with your body rapidly declining in health you suspect that your being poisoned. Black Walder seems like the most likely suspect, but the situation is dire with so many members of your family tired of waiting. What will you do?

Doran Martell:
-Prestige: 5/10.
-Gold: 500.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 10/10.

-Prince Doran, good day. As of now Sunspear is under the full control of your troops and you hold Princess Myrcella and Ser Arys as prisoners, but all of Dorne is in a rage. The Dornishmen will not stand for what has happened to Prince Oberyn, and they - with Princess Arianne at the lead- demand that you declare war on the Iron Throne. Should Prince Oberyn die at his trial, nobody knows what the people will do.

POV update to come on Monday or Tuesday (I will take a long trip on Monday, hence why I am unsure about it). So far the potential choices may include Barristan Selmy, Asha Greyjoy, Lord Varys, Davos Seaworth, Arianne Martell and perhaps another North or South POV depending on the answers that I get in the next hours.

I really wanted to have Asha, Barristan and Arianne this time, but two of them would have some major spoilers and I am a bit unsure on Daenerys as of now, so this update is just made of Jaime, Jo and Varys to clear a few spots. Turn Two will end on Friday, Turn Three to come that very same day.

Several players haven't sent their orders, so please hurry!

The turn is over, no further commands to be acknowledged. We will have a small update on some recent events and then we'll move into turn two during the night (I am busy right now, so it might take a few hours).

Early to Mid 300 AL: Aftermath:

Stannis Baratheon's march on the North:

After shocking the Seven Kingdoms with his victory at the Wall and with his supporters rising through the cities to spread the tales of his comeback, King Stannis Baratheon was successful in forcing the Night's Watch to follow his will - not without making himself very unpopular with Ser Denys Mallister and his men - all while winning over the sole male Stark still living. With more and more snow falling through the North, the Baratheon Army marched from the Nightfort and through the Wolfwood to reach Deepwood Motte, a journey unmolested by the Bolton loyalists. By the time King Stannis had reached the castle abandoned by the Ironborn he had won the support of Gerrick Kingsblood and his wildling troops, the allegiance of the survivors of the sack of Winterfell, and the support of Houses Glover, Mormont, Tallhart, most of House Umber and the mountain clans for Jon Stark.

And while Lord Bolton waits at the Dreadfort, House Manderly and its allies (Houses Flint and Locke) maintain some sort of neutrality due to the imprisonment of one of Wyman Manderly's sons and the legitimized bastard status of Jon Stark. With Hand of the King Davos Seaworth reportedly a prisoner of the Manderlys but with their troops refusing to leave White Harbor, their situation is rather vague at the moment. House Reed has not declared for any house yet due to the distance and the logistical issues, but they are expected to make an announcement soon. Thus the North is now ripe for the duel between the Baratheon/Starks and the Boltons, with the Houses divided on their support.

Euron Greyjoy's assault on the Reach:

While the Ironborn captains new that their new King was ambitious, they never expected him to take on perhaps the most powerful force in Westeros at that moment: House Tyrell and its countless bannermen. After sidelining Princess Asha in a quest, silencing Lord Baelor Blacktyde forever and with Aeron Damphair focused on his work in the Iron Islands, Euron took most of his forces and launched a massive-scale offensive on the Reach, forcing no less than three naval battles: Southshield, Whispering Sound I and II and three other land engagements: the battle of Oakenshield, the sack of the Arbor and the battle of Oldtown.

The Southshield disaster/Battle of Oakenshield: Taking full advantage of the weak defenses of the Shield Islands when compared to the Mander and Old Oak, Dagmer Cleftjaw led a strong section of the Iron Islands fleet against the weak Shield Islands fleet, trading some casualties for a smashing victory that had most of the enemy captured or sunk. Taking full advantage of the situation, Cleftjaw and his men quickly dispatched most of the garrison of the islands at the battle of Oakenshield, but they have been unable to storm the rest of the keeps due to the disarray forced by the death of Dagmer Cleftjaw from a battle wound.

Battle of Whispering Sound I/Sack of Oldtown: Taking advantage of the distraction posed by the battle at Southshield, Victarion Greyjoy's Ironfleet took a long detour along the sea to avoid being seen, using their strength to quickly sack Blackcrown and thus draw the Hightower Fleet in open combat (with the Hightowers believing the Ironfleet to be at the Shield Islands). Prince Victarion showed his skill by defeating the Hightowers and preventing the retreat of the survivors (who were in good fighting order) to Oldtown, forcing them to go to the Arbor. To the shock of the city several fires were started to put the city in chaos, allowing Victarion to surprise the city and attempt a sack. The fighting was fierce and lenghty, the Ironborn struggling in house to house fighting thanks to the increased defenses of the city. Eventually Victarion retreated with heavy losses and a good deal of plunder when the Tyrell vanguard reached the city, and to the utter shock of Lord Hightower the City Watch imprisoned Lady Obara Sand as responsible for the fires.

Sack of the Arbor/Battle of Whispering Sound II: Leading the final Ironborn force and the one that took the longest trip, King Euron waited until the Redwyne Fleet launched to help the Hightowers to launch his own attack on the islands, successfully sacking the Arbor and taking several captives from House Redwyne. Finally, the last part of Euron's plan had the combined Redwyne-Hightower forces having to fend off the Ironfleet and Euron's Fleet at the same time in the Second Battle of the Whispering Sound, easily the largest naval battle in Westeros since the Battle in the Gullet. Time after time the Redwynes held off the Ironborn assaults despite the heavy damages inflicted by the magic of the Qarth warlocks, waiting until the night to withdraw their remaining forces in good order back to the Arbor.

Despite heavy losses of his own Euron Greyjoy succeeded in crippling or destroying most of the fleets of the Reach (with the exception of the intact Mander Fleet), all while taking or sacking several crucial keeps or cities and damaging Houses Redwyne and Hightower the most, thus showcasing that the weakness of the Tyrells consists in not being able to deploy their men fast enough. Ironically, the attack interrupted the Conclave of the Citadel and killed Gormon Tyrell among others, forcing the surviving Maesters to chose Archmaester Vaellyn as the new Grand Maester. It should also be noted that the Dornish armies have launched several raids through the frontier with the Reach (and the Stormlands as well), with Horn Hill being threatened several times.

Aegon VI's Landing on the Stormlands:

Dozens of ravens have left the Stormlands in the past few weeks giving news of the dead being back from their graves, as the reports indicate that Prince Aegon Targaryen and Lord Jon Connington survived their apparent deaths and returned to Westeros with the Golden Company, dramatically declaring Prince Aegon to be King Aegon VI and claiming the Stormlands for his rule. Taking full advantage of the Iron Throne's decision not to provide the region with a strong garrison, three hosts landed in Griffin's Roost, near Storm's End and in Tarth.

Tarth and Griffin's Roost proved easy targets, with Lord Selwyn Tarth choosing to bend the knee to the Targaryens and Ser Ronnet Connington escaping to King's Landing. Storm's End proved a harder target with its thick walls, but King Aegon made a clever use of his war elephants against the small garrison, breaking through the walls. Losses were high among the attacking force, but by the end of the day the banner of the Dragon was raised through the fortress. Lord Elwood Meadows chose to yield and bend the knee, and Ser Gilbert Farring and Ser Lomas Estermont perished during the fight. Despite the losses sustained King Aegon now has a major victory to claim, and the Golden Company and the Pentoshi Fleet hold a tight control over the new beachheads. If news spread quickly enough and if King Aegon can convince the Lords of his true heritage, more Houses could rise for the Targaryens.

Siege and Fall of Riverrun, Civil War at the Twins:

After an extremely successful start to the Riverlands Campaign, Lord Randyll Tarly and Ser Jaime Lannister were able to achieve most of the remaining targets left, as Riverrun fell after Ser Brynden Tully decided to finally yield the castle. Ser Brynden escaped, but Lady Westerling has been sent to Casterly Rock and Lord Edmure and his family have left for Highgarden. Upon the fall of the castle the Blackwoods and the remaining Trident Lords have finally bent the knee, allowing Tarly and the Reachlords to try and rebuild the badly damaged region from the damage sustained thanks to Tywin Lannister. That said, things do not look good for the region considering Lord Paramount Petyr Baelish's coma and the recent death of Lord Walder Frey at the Twins due to poisoning. The death of Lord Frey and the continued executions of several Freys across the Riverlands (including Ryman Frey, then heir to Lord Walder) have prompted "Black" Walder Frey to stage a coup in the Twins that has resulted on the deaths of many of his kinsmen, forcing Lord Edmyn Frey to flee to Riverurn and gather his own host to counter the treasonous act.

Lords Declarant take over the Vale:

Frustrated over Lysa Arryn's constant refusals to join the War of the Five Kings and shocked by her death right after her marriage to Petyr Baelish, the main Lords of the Vale joined forces and marched on the Eyrie, setting up a long siege against Lord Baelish. After weeks of refusing audiences and meetings, Nestor Royce surrendered the castle. Lord Baelish was put in a coma after sustaining a wound to the head and he was sent back to Harrenhal along with his sellswords, and the Lords Declarant held a council that confirmed Lord Yohn Royce as the new Lord Protector of the Vale along with a Regency Council made of the Lords Declarants. The court and Lord Robert were formally moved to the Gates of the Moon, were the Regency Council will soon start its rulership over the Vale of Arryn.

Weddings, births and deaths:

Deaths: Mance Rayder, Oberyn Martell, Gregor Clegane, Glbert Farring, Lomas Estermont, Ryman Frey and a dozen or so of his kinsmen, Baelor and Gunther Hightower, Gormon Tyrell, Talbert Serry and Dagmer Cleftjaw.
Weddings: None.
Births: None.

Mid 300 AL: Turn Three:

General View:

The Hour of the Dragon has come, and Aegon Targaryen has landed in Westeros to replicate the daring invasion of his ancestor, the man who forged the Iron Throne. With the Baratheons fighting the Boltons and the Tyrells busy handling the Greyjoys the time seems ripe for the unexpected claimant, but can he overcome the alliance system created by Tywin Lannister before his death? And furthermore, to whom will the surviving Stark and Tully loyalist swear their loyalty? King's Landing has seen its first day of snow, and winter comes, faster than ever.

Updated Cast:

Joffrey Baratheon, King in the Iron Throne (Mr. X)
Aegon Targaryen, claimant to the Iron Throne (dkrolga)
Stannis Baratheon, King in the Narrow Sea and the Wall (Dereich)
Euron Greyjoy, King of the Iron Islands (Talleyrand)
Tyrion Lannister, Lord of Casterly Rock (Dr. Cynic)
Roose Bolton, Lord of the Dreadfort and Winterfell (Elkins)
Doran Martell, Prince of Dorne (Cranberry)
Mace Tyrell, Lord of Highgarden (Spamage)

Player Crisis:

Aegon Targaryen:
-Prestige: 4/10 (Surge after his victory at Storm's End)
-Gold: 50.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 2/10 (Identity doubted)

-The Golden Company has finally reached Westeros, and you have established three landing zones in the Stormlands that the Pentoshi fleet can defend and supply. As you sit in Storm's End Lord Connington has asked you to seek as many allies as possible, and Captain General Strickland warns that the Tyrell armies will soon strike at the Stormlands. How will you rally the Lords of Westeros to your side? And furthermore, will you begin your rule from Storm's End by establishing a Small Council and a Kingsguard?

Joffrey Baratheon:
-Prestige: 3/10
-Gold: 500.000 GD
-Legitimacy: 6/10

-It seems your personal faction has found itself in a very good position, as Waters, Qyburn and Rosby report that their new positions have been rather successful (the skeleton of the new Royal Army is finally starting to grow). That said, the situation with the Lannisters is still unresolved, not to mention that rival Kings Euron, Stannis and Aegon grow stronger each day.

-One of the most pressing issues is that of the sparrows, that continue to camp outside King's Landing and continously denounce your rule, the High Septon powerless to stop them. Will you move against the fanatics of the Faith?

-Grand Maester Vaellyn has arrived in King's Landing, and he has started his time as Grand Maester by asking permission to investigate Pycelle's archives. Will you grant such permission?

-Finally, congratulations, your grace! Queen Margaery has not been feeling too well as of late, and Vaellyn has confirmed that the Queen is pregnant and due to deliver a son or daughter at the end of the year.

Stannis Baratheon:
-Prestige: 7/10 .
-Gold: 190.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 6/10.

While your relationship with the Night's Watch has reached a new low, more and more Houses rally to your side thanks to the help of Lord Jon Stark. The Manderlys and other houses continue to denounce Lord Jon as a bastard, but with half the North on your side your commanders press you to march against the Boltons and put an end to the campaign before Winter grows more punishing.

-Lady Melisandre has reported that the bastard boy Edric Storm is currently in Lys, and she has asked you to send men after him. Furthermore, she has pointed out that Maester Aemon of the Night's Watch has substantial king's blood and she has suggested that he would make a fine sacrifice to the Lord of Light.

-Ser Davos seems to have dissapeared from White Harbor, and many of your knights and lords have asked you to appoint a new Hand of the King. Will you do so?

Mace Tyrell:
-Prestige: 7/10
-Gold: 2.800.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 10/10.

-My condolences of the losses sustained at the Reach, Lord Mace. House Tyrell has not technically suffered crippling losses, but Houses Redwyne and Hightower have lost a great deal of their power and your naval forces are at a major disadvantage against the Greyjoys (which led Garlan to ask for reinforcements). It certainly won't be easy to balance things out.

-The first issue comes from the many highborn hostages taken by the Ironborn, as it has been suggested that they should be ransomed as soon as possible. Will you do so?

-Lord Tarly reports that the Riverlands are still filled with hundreds of outlaws and he has sustained some losses in his rearguard, but with the exception of the Frey civil war the region has no visible military threats for the time being. Should your troops leave the region or stay?

-Your men at Oldtown have caught Lady Obara Sand as the responsible for the sabotage inside the city, and as we speak the Dornishmen are raiding the Reach. How will you act against them?

Euron Greyjoy:
-Prestige: 9/10.
-Gold: 380.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 8/10.

-Losses have been high, but the Ironborn have won a great victory against the Reach. Your captains ask for the campaign to continue, first by subduing the Shield Islands and perhaps even march against Highgarden. The stakes are high, but with the Iron Islands behind your control and all the new plunder, you can afford to focus on military affairs much more than any other King. Will you make use of that advantage?

Roose Bolton:
-Prestige: 6/10
-Gold: 95.000 GD
-Legitimacy: 5/10

-It seems Stannis Baratheon has the upper hand as we speak, for he continues to win houses to his side while the Manderlys don't seem inclined to be too active on the conflict. Ramsay and your allies urge you to deal with him right away using your army to crash the Baratheon host before it's too late, and a failure to act could very well put you in a very unstable position...

Doran Martell:
-Prestige: 6/10.
-Gold: 490.000 GD.
-Legitimacy: 10/10.

-Prince Doran, my most sincere condolences over the deaths of Prince Oberyn and Lady Ellaria and the imprisonment of Lady Obara. While family affairs are indeed complicated, Dorne wants war and the Lords are more than pleased to see the Dornish armies preparing for battle. Many doubt Aegon VI and others would prefer Dorne to rise for Daenerys, but many more wish to join him to honor the memory of Lady Elia and take revenge on the Lannisters, the Baratheons and the Tyrells. Who will Dorne back, and will their armies march North once again as they did twenty years ago?

Tyrion Lannister:
-Prestige: 4/10
-Gold: 3.460.000 GD
-Legitimacy: 7/10

-The situation has recovered some stability as your wounds have healed, allowing you to return to Casterly Rock or march on King's Landing should you deem it necessary. Most of your vassals and family profess loyalty, but if you wait too long then the tide may turn against you.

Mid 300 AL: Aftermath:

The Great Fire of King's Landing:

Ever since Robert Baratheon died in a hunting accident the capital of King's Landing was in constant trouble, suffering from starvation, a City Watch too corrupt to keep the peace and a constant instability in government not helped by the Battle of the Blackwater and Joffrey Baratheon's tyranny. To the shock and outrage of the Seven Kingdoms, three hundred years of history ended when House Tyrell launched a coup against the Baratheon Regime, forcing a battle across the streets that culminated in the wildfire reserves of the capital being set on fire for some unknown reason. The fire quickly extended through the city causing chaos and destruction, and it took several days for the fire to die. It's calculated that more than two-thirds of the population along with most of the armies inside died in the fire, and the survivors currently face starvation as they flood the Crownlands.

The deaths are countless, and they include:

House Baratheon: King Joffrey Baratheon, Ser Osney Kettleblack, four Kingsguards (Ser Meryn Trant, Ser Boros Blount, Ser Loras Tyrell and Ser Osmund Kettleback), Lord Janos Slynt, Ser Osfryd Kettleblack, Grand Maester Vaellyn, the High Septon.
House Tyrell: Lord Mace Tyrell, Queen Margaery Tyrell, Ser Garth Tyrell, Lord Paxter Redwyne.

Lord Mathis Rowan managed to get away from the fire with a force of 4,500 men, having captured Lord Gyles Rosby and Ser Ronnet Connington. Lord Commander Jaime Lannister arrived at the city and managed to save Prince Tommen along with Ser Balon Swann, and the small remnants of the Royal Fleet escaped the city with Admiral Aurane Waters, Lord Qyburn, 500 Goldcloaks and countless refugees to the island of Driftmark (the Baratheon loyalists being expulsed). The whereabouts of Lord Varys are unknown, and it was reported that Lady Olenna Tyrell survived the fire as she had retired from the capital shortly before the failed coup.

Aegon VI's Invasion of Westeros:

Having won a decisive victory at Storm's End, Aegon Targaryen won the formal support of Dorne, appointing Prince Doran Martell as the Hand of the King and preparing a marriage to Princess Arianne Martell. Dorne suffered greatly under a series of Tyrell raids that burned crops and razed several villages in the frontier, and their main army under Anders Yronwood suffered a major delay in the Dornish marshes due to the Stormlander Lords of the area resisting the invasion and blocking the Dornish troops. King Aegon announced that his new seat would be the fortress of Storm's End and prepared his armies to hold on their current positions.

Battle of the Gullet: Choosing not to move against the ruins of King's Landing, King Aegon sent the Pentoshi Fleet along with Marq Mandrake and Lord Jon Connington to capture Dragonstone, an operation that could seriously harm Stannis Baratheon's prestige. Alas, the attack was interrupted when the Pentoshi navy found the Baratheon Fleet back from the North, both fleets engaging in a furious battle in the Gullet. The battle ended up with the Baratheons repelling the attack, which resulted in heavy casualties for the Targaryen loyalists (including the death of Marq Mandrake and the loss of seven elephants).

Stannis Baratheon's march on the North II:

After rallying half the North to his side with the help of Lord Jon Stark, King Stannis and his forced seized the moment and led their forces against Roose Bolton, who had assembled his forces outside Winterfell.

Second Siege of Winterfell: Both sides were evenly matched in strength and Stannis's forces were less cohesive, but in the end it came down to what side was more loyal to its leader. The Boltons couldn't rely on any Frey assistance, and small groups of men were slowly leaving the Bolton Army to join the Baratheon-Stark forces. In the end the battle would be decided by the arrival of Lord Wyman Manderly and his forces, striking the Boltons from behind while Jon Stark and a select group of men infiltrated Winterfell and opened the gates to Stannis. The battle ended with the might of House Bolton crushed, Roose Bolton falling in single combat to King Stannis while Lord Ramsay took the survivors of his side back to the Dreadfort.

The unlikely alliance of Northerners and Baratheons enjoyed a night of victory in the liberated fortress of Winterfell, and they were unable to march over the next days due to the losses and the need to reorganize. Lord Manderly reassured King Stannis that Ser Davos Seaworth was alive and soon to return, and the truce allowed for several ravens to fly with shocking news: King Stannis was informed that King's Landing was gone thanks to the Great Fire, that Queen Selyse Baratheon had been murdered at the Nightfort in strange circumstances, and, most surprising of all, Lord Howland Reed, Lady Maege Mormont and Galbart Glover had emerged from Greywater Watch with the will of King Robb, confirming Jon Stark as his heir.

Euron Greyjoy's v. the World:

After securing several large victories against the Reach King Euron united his forces once again at the Shield Islands, securing the loot taken in the recent battles and holding the wedding of Prince Victarion Greyjoy and Lady Desmera Redwyne. After a short rest, the bulk of the Iron Islanders went North after a few distraction operations, leading to:

Battle of Lannisport and the Rock: King Euron led his forces to a massive raid of Lannisport conducted on the night, using land forces and the Qarth warlocks as his triumph card against the very well trained Lannisport City Watch and the Lannister troops sent from Casterly Rock. King Euron smashed the Lannister fleet with easy, and he used the surpise of the attack to set fire to most of the city and almost capture both the city and the fortress, were it not for the brave resistance of the City Watch and the impregnable defenses of Casterly Rock. By the next day it was evident that the street fights could take days to solve, forcing King Euron to withdraw his fleet back into open sea. He had been repelled, but Lannisport was burning, the Lannister power was significantly weakened and Ser Kevan Lannister found his death in battle.

Battle of the Sunset Sea: Not wasting the chance to strike at the enemy, House Tyrell launched their main fleet from the Mander to strike at Victarion Greyjoy's fleet in the Sunset Sea, a fleet that comprised the Ironfleet and some forces left behind by Euron that made both forces similar in strength. In the end, the Ironfleet was able to overcome its wounds by using their experience and skill and forced a battle to the death with their enemies, with Victarion savagely boarding ships after ship. By the time the battle was finally over the Reach Fleet had to withdraw back into the Mander, losing the battle while inflicting severe losses on the Ironfleet.

With both battles over King Euron tried to seduce the Lords of the Reach with promises, but his offers were rejected even among those who had defied the Tyrells by backing Aegon Targaryen. King Euron had another great victory at Lannisport, but the fleets of the Reach can still pose a major threat if united.

Battle of Meereen:

Months of political instability in Meereen and constant setbacks for Queen Daenerys Targaryen have come to an end as the Queen has met the forces of the Free Cities in a huge battle, the largest seen in Essos since the War of the Ninepenny Kings. The marriage of Hizdahr zo Loraq worth Daenerys could have brokered a peace, until Ser Jorah Mormont smuggled himself back into the city and uncovered Hizdahr's dealings with the Sons of the Harpy in a daring attempt to win back Daenerys's favor.

This led to an uprising in Meereen that resulted in the deaths of Hizdahr and most of his allies, situation that the Essosi armies used to launch their own assault. The battle raged for hours as Queen Daenerys managed to mount Drogon against her enemies, and the decisive moment came when an Ironborn squadron led by Princess Asha Greyjoy charged on the rearguard of the Qartheen Fleet, leading to the chaos that the slaves of the Volantene fleet were waiting to betray their masters and join Daenerys, led by the charismatic red priest Moqorro.

By the time the battle was over Meereen was virtually destroyed, the armies of the free cities scattered and the main threat to the Targaryen regime purged. With Daenerys now having most of the Volantene fleet for her Ser Barristan and her surviving advisors have begged her to leave Slaver's Bay and return to Westeros, and Princess Asha has held discussions of her own with the Queen. Nobody knows what she will decide, but it has become evident that it's now or never for the daughter of Aerys II.

Weddings, births and deaths:

Deaths: King Joffrey Baratheon, Lord Roose Bolton, Lord Mace Tyrell, Queen Margaery Tyrell, Queen Selyse Florent, King Hizdahr zo Loraq, Grey Worm, Kevan Lannister, the High Septo, the Kettleblacks, half the Kingsguard, Marq Mandrake, Janos Slynt, Garth Tyrell, Grand Maester Vaellyn, Brown Ben Plumm, Lord Paxter Redwyne, Lord Petyr Baelish, and more and more Freys.
Weddings: Desmera Redwyne and Victarion Greyjoy, Val and Jon Stark.
Births: None.

War of the... Four Kings:

The Great Fire of King's Landing and the recent developments in the Stormlands and the North have led to a massive change of alliances thanks to the collapse of the Baratheon/Tyrell/Lannister alliance, undoing all of Tywin Lannister's victories in less than six months. Westeros is now divided in four sides as many Lords have announced their new loyalties, and many Houses are still undecided on the future.

King Tommen Baratheon: Hurriedly crowned after the Sack of Lannisport as the heir to Joffrey, Tommen starts in a very weak position, currently having the support of the Westerlands (with Lord Tyrion appointed as his Regent and Hand), Darry (held by Lancel Lannister) and a few Stormlander houses (led by House Swann), the entire Crownlands rejecting Lannister rule after the Great Fire. Tommen's sole heir is Princess Myrcella, currently held prisioner by the Dornishmen.

King Stannis Baratheon: On the rise following his victory at Winterfell, King Stannis has turned back the tables, rallying House Stark and many of his bannermen while winning back the support of many of the Stormlanders (who are still anti-Targaryen). Stannis faces many challenges, he has just lost his Queen and his sole heir is just a girl, but he was already considered dead after the Blackwater, and he has proved that he will fight to the bitter end.

King Aegon Targaryen: Despite his defeat at the Gullet, Aegon looks more and more as the King with the most potential, only damaged by the questions over his legtimacy as a true Targaryen. Along with the Martells and their bannermen, Houses Hightower, Costayne, Peake and Rowan of the Reach have denounced the Tyrells to back him (with Lord Rowan pledging the survivors of King's Landing to his cause), and they have been joined by Houses Cafferen, Fell and Grandison from the Stormlands. It is said that Houses Velaryon, Mooton and the Houses of Crackclaw Point are considering rising for him, but they doubt whether he is Rhaegar's true son. House Oakheart has also expressed that they are interested in joining the Targaryen Alliance, provided Ser Arys Oakheart is released from Sunspear.

King Euron Greyjoy: The King that looks more unlikely to make new friends, Euron has showed his military skill by smashing the fleets of the Reach and the Westerlands and sacking Oldtown and Lannisport, two of the major cities in Westeros. Now incredibly rich, he has the Ironborn behind him, but his military forces have taken some major losses over the past months.

Others: House Tyrell is in shock after the deaths of many of their members, but Lord Willas and Lord Garlan look likely to act very soon on declaring their new loyalty after the ties with the Lannister/Baratheons have been cut. Lord Royce and the Lords Declarant have called a Grand Council of the Vale to decide whom to back in the war, and in the Riverlands Randyll Tarly holds most of the region with his large army as the Freys keep killing each other and the curse of Harrenhal strikes again with the brutal murder of Lord Petyr Baelish in his bed.

There must have been an error somewhere, as I ordered my second army not to guard the Boneway but the Prince's Pass and the Reach border...

There must have been an error somewhere, as I ordered my second army not to guard the Boneway but the Prince's Pass and the Reach border...

And I had a host move towards King's Landing - as well as an assault on Bronzegate.
