You are aware social conservatives are welcome in this group

Why would that matter to me? My stances are antithetical to libertarianism. I believe in government intervention in the economy and labor unions as well as regulating social issues. Also, why are you a SoCon libertarian? Isn't being socially liberal a big part of being a libertarian?

It depends on what the limits are defined as. Jbrase is rather socially conservative on a personal level, he just doesn't want the Gov't involved with enforcing a social structure.

Also old Libertas was a pro-life Libertarian, of course that was part of a fake persona by his own admission. Still you do have real life examples like the Pauls (Of course whether or not you consider one or both of Ron and Rand to be real libertarians is another matter as well).

While I am not sure about all the finer points, I am pro-life, I do agree regions should be more involved in social issues, would like to see taxes as low as practical.

I also said that I envisioned some overlap between the two groups (kind of like those who held membership in the Mainstreat Caucus and the RSC in the Republican Conference) and I planned to be one of those who did so.

So...

From the Coolidge Society offices

We are disappointed with the failure of the vote to expel Tallyrand from the party and will continue to fight to place real, principled conservatives and libertarians into office.

More men like this in office

Less men like this

You might want to edit your post the way I did above, the links are destroying the thread because of their length.
