Good evening everyone,

I would like to inform you that after much deliberation, I will
be officially running for the Northern Assembly on August 19-21.
I am new to the political scene, however I am one who adheres
to principles at all times. There would never be an instance in which I would vote for a piece of legislation which would endanger the citizens of Atlasia and/or compromise my own values.

I always stand by my word and will fight to keep our people safe. I will try to compromise with others in the Assembly to come to a resolution. I believe that we must value human life in all instances and serve to protect it at all costs, which is the reason why I strongly support the current legislation to abolish the death penalty, and fighting relentlessly to protect the lives of the unborn. I also support any referendums that will reform the current healthcare system in a sensible manner. I will be a consistent voice and an advocate for conservative actions during my tenure as Assemblyman. I humbly ask for your allegiance in this upcoming election, it would be a privilege to represent my fellow citizens and have your vote.  

You will not be disappointed with lending your support to me, we must seek something better than ourselves, and I am a candidate who believes that we can truly accomplish that.

Just a quick comment or two on your positions.  We are in agreement on most issues, I find.  The only planks of your platform that I disagree with are immigration, and free trade as well. 

On immigration, I believe that illegal immigration is a serious concern, and that laws regarding it should be made stricter.  If you're coming into Atlasia legally, then you're OK with me.  However, if you're skirting our laws, you should not be permitted to stay here.  Also, I oppose "guest worker" programs, as well as any form of amnesty. 

On the subject of free trade, I generally support the idea of open markets, and reduced regulation.  However, I believe that any new trade agreements need to be approached with caution, and that we should create incentives for companies to do business in the North, not to mention the rest of Atlasia.  I am very much pro-life; I believe that instead of encouraging abortion, we should create a "culture of life", which includes making most abortions illegal.
