I of course know German; and I dare to say I am quite fluent in English as well. (I know my English is terrible, but I'm able to discuss quite a few subjects with you guys and get my point across)
Elsewise, my Italian is becoming better, though it's still a far stretch from fluency. Maybe one day...

You're more fluent in English than many native English speakers are. Smiley

Conversational in Spanish (and from that can read a little Portuguese, Catalan, Italian, and Romanian), know bits and pieces of German and French.

No.  I used to be close to fluency in German, but I haven't spoken it for a semester and it's gotten rusty.  Hopefully after next semester I will be.  After that, Arabic here I come!

It's actually quite astonishing to me how many here learn German... I always thought Americans would just learn Spanish and French....

I took Arabic in college and 6 years of Latin in middle school/high school. I'm rusty on both, to say the least, but I've been meaning to pick them back up.
