I am a big fan, so you know how I voted.

Mandy should be able to appeal to people across the political spectrum.  She was for Kerry-Edwards in 2004 and also said on her message board back in 2000 that she would vote for Gore if she could.  (She just turned 21 last Sunday.)  Mandy was also in the movie "Saved!", which I found to be a hilarious satire on religious right wing nuts.  However, Mandy starred in _A Walk To Remember_ as Jamie Sullivan, the preacher's daughter.  Mandy Moore is considered quite wholesome, and she plans to wait until marriage before having sex.  In case you are wondering, Mandy Moore has rarely revealed her midriff and has made not even one remotely controversial pose.  Also, she has done none of the crazy stunts that Britney is famous for.

Of course, if Mandy Moore were the Democratic nominee, the Republican machine would make attack ads out of the anti-Mandy hate sites, and FOX News Channel fans would believe them.

I can't believe 4 out of 11 have a negative opinion of Mandy Moore.  Was she the one who killed Vince Foster?  Or are the 4 of you on the Atkins Diet and think that Mandy is a terrorist for singing the song "Candy"?  Remember, Mandy Moore does not sleep around, is probably still a virgin, didn't have oral sex in the White House, and is someone you should be able to bring home to mother.

Let me guess.  The liberals with a negative opinion of Mandy say, "Mandy Moore said, 'OK, OK, so I didn't ice skate so well in the Walk Me Home video.  I ice skate with the ice skating ability I have, not the ice skating ability I want.'"  The conservative with a negative opinion of Mandy says, "Mandy Moore is a flip-flopper!  She said, 'I actually voted FOR the 87 chick flicks before I voted against it.'"

My opinion of Mandy Moore was fairly neutral-to-negative until Fahrenheit 9/11 came out.  Once I saw that pile of crap I knew he must have a screw loose.

I liked Saved and the fact she supported Kerry so positive. Her music however is utterly terrible.

I agree with you as far as her music is concerned, but she's been doing more acting now, and her movie "Saved!" was pretty good. You'd like it since it makes fun of the fundies you whine about a lot. Opebo liked it too.

I believe he did.  Like hiring an ice cream van to read the Patriot Act to Capitol Hill (was anybody actually listening?) or endorsing Alan Keyes for president in 2000 because he jumped into a mosh pit.
