Let's not forget something. The UN was created to ensure that no one country starts kicking others around. If the UN seems biased towards the US, its because we are the country that is now kicking others around.

And to be technical, I consider the Cold War to be World War III, so there has been a world war since the UN was created...a very long world war. ;)
And the current war against radical Islam might count as World War IV, so that would completely blow that point out of the water... :P
