Which of the following things should a president be able to do?

Lincoln thought options 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Also, all you ACLU fanatics, if it applies to Lincoln, it applies to Bush.

Does this mean you hate Bush after all?

Is your contempt for Lincoln academic (based on his methodology), or do you believe we should return to the days of slavery?

There are some who concede that the war in Iraq may have been the right thing for the wrong reasons (and handled poorly at that).  Is your opinion of the civil war the same?

A18:
Bush has not done any of the above.

I agree.  These things are certainly not desirable, but it would be better to do some of these things than to allow our freedom to be destroyed, which would mean the loss of all our rights anyway.
