Too many rules and regulations MiamiU. I read the registration form completely and I have a question for you regarding your Forum. Do you mean if you or another Administrator doesn't agree with posters, you will just erase what they've said. That's not open at all. I encourage you to re-evaluate your "rules."

I think the rules that you are reading are the default rules.  I haven't set them yet, and now I will.  Don't want to turn people away.
Sorry CM.

The default rules can't be changed.  Just ignore them.

e-mail chadwickp10@aol.com if you have any questions.

I believe all boards have this as a rule, really. The administrator always has the power to delete posts, but anyone who would go to the trouble of setting up a board for people to post on isn't likely to do this. Usually the reason they set up the board is to promote debate, not stifle it. However, if someone posts attacks of a personal nature or something of that sort, then that is where the power to delete posts becomes more useful.
Many of you are new and may not remember, but on Dave's old forum about a year ago, we had an individual who was posting many attacks of a personal nature on this board. This person abruptly left, so I'm hoping that Dave may have exercised his power in that regard there. This person basically did nothing but attack other posters personally and spew off about how Ralph Nader was Satan for denying Gore the election (seriously, this guy would literally bring up Nader in EVERY post!). Then all of a sudden he went from far left to far right wing in his views and started making all kinds of very offensive remarks towards individual posters.

So, is Nym90 going to be a new member to that board?

OK, I'll sign up but I don't know how much time I will have for it if it is basically the same thing.
