Eyewitness News 4/Survey USA New Mexico Senate Poll
Udall 52%
Weh 39%
Undecided 9%

According to the poll, Weh leads the early and absentee vote 50-48.

The poll is almost certainly of likely voters.  The article doesn't say  how many total voters were polled (supposedly 548 polled voters already voted), poll dates or MoE.  We'll probably have to wait for SUSA to put the poll up on their website to find out.

According to the article, Weh leads in the subsample of 548 early and absentee voters 50-48.  (I got the numbers wrong in the original post.  I will edit it).  According to the article, the Udall campaign says their poll shows him doing better than that among early and absentee voters.  SUSA is known for screwy crosstabs.

Still, if true, that's shocking. To Weh's credit though, he's better than a nobody (almost beat Martinez in the 2010 primary, ran the NM Republican Party I believe, and is a military person).

No Weh it's true.

Seriously, Weh is the Harold Stassen of NM. Nothing to see here. He finished 2nd to Martinez in the primary in 2010 in the same sense that Dennis Kucinich finished 2nd to Kerry in 2004.
