The problem isn't a candidate, it's that Kentucky is so far right of the country it's a non-competitive state. Hillary will be targeting VA, NC, FL and even GA but forget the rest of the south.

Or that Mitch McConnell is a machine who destroys potential candidates for higher office in Kentucky. He wrecked Steve Beshear when those two ran for Senate against one another. He runs scorched to the earth campaigns, and it's clear that Grimes wasn't ready for it.

Of course. Kentucky is a Republican state.

This poll was 52-36 Democrats.

She only beats McConnell among Democrats 64-29. That's why.
