A question. Do you guys even know Malloy's policies or do you just see the D after his name? What has he done?

Malloy's been a terrific governor. He has:

-Increased the minimum wage to $10.10/hour
-Gotten rid of the death penalty
-Paid sick leave
-Expanded voting rights
-Investments in early childhood education

He was a great leader during the Sandy Hook tragedy and led the way in implementing new gun control laws in its wake that have helped to dramatically reduce murder rates in the state. He tackled the deficit by increasing taxes on the rich, while at the same time cutting taxes for the poor (through the state EITC), and not gutting public services and public employee unions, like the right-wingers in so many other states have.

Frankly it's pretty ridiculous that he's not leading by more, but I guess Connecticut does have a pretty big population of selfish rich poor-haters.
