I'll go with Richard Nixon. I'm not a big fan of price controls.

George H. W. Bush

This poll really doesn't give the Democrats much choice.  Tongue

Clinton was a better president than Carter but I like Carter more.  So I'll say Clinton.

LBJ was legendary. Carter was mediocre. Clinton was great. I'll say Carter.

Because he's worse than his father, Reagan, Ford, and Nixon. Smiley

Nixon and GHWB were a bunch of economic girlie men.

Nixon had the best job growth of any Republican in the last 80 years. Of course, he still lost to every Democrat in the last 80 years.

Don't worry, I'm not.

Anyway, the obvious reason for more 'job growth' is inflation.

Worst Democrat: Carter. Johnson's policies were arguably worse, but you can't deny that he was a strong President. Carter was just... bleh. He had good intentions, but he was an all around bad President.

Worst Republican: GWB. He's an utter disgrace.

Funny, since you support the Iraq war, oppose gay marriage, and presumably favor tax cuts since you're a Goldwater fan.

GHWB is a close second.
