Peters' favorables are at 45%.

And that is exactly where they will stay for the next 30 years.

This is what happens when you believe money will do everything and that you're too lazy to campaign.

It wasn't laziness--restricting press access was her way of hiding her intellectual deficiencies. Either way, the state GOP brought a knife to a gunfight in this race.

If there's anything to feel hopeful about on Election Night, it's that the Michigan GOP fell flat on its face in an open Senate race, when so many Republicans are adamant that Michigan is a "swing" or "purple" state.

Michigan is neither, and this talking point needs to die. Now.
