Peters' favorables are at 45%.

And that is exactly where they will stay for the next 30 years.

Link

Gary Peters - 53%
Terri Lynn Land - 39%
Undecided - 8%

With Terri Lynn Land winning a stunning... 2% of African Americans. This has been over for a long time, but now I can see Peters winning by nearly 20 points. Hot damn, what a disaster.

This is a disaster for Republicans by Michigan standards.

This is what happens when you believe money will do everything and that you're too lazy to campaign.

Or it could get you elected governor of Florida. Wink

Does Oldiesfreak still think Land can win?

No, I disagree. While Scott made mistakes (like the debate), he actually campaigned for his reelection and worked hard on that: his flip flop on immigration,...

This year has seen some spectacularly bad candidates, hasn't it?

It wasn't laziness--restricting press access was her way of hiding her intellectual deficiencies. Either way, the state GOP brought a knife to a gunfight in this race.

If there's anything to feel hopeful about on Election Night, it's that the Michigan GOP fell flat on its face in an open Senate race, when so many Republicans are adamant that Michigan is a "swing" or "purple" state.

Michigan is neither, and this talking point needs to die. Now.
