The Shaheen race is the Ernst race in reverse. (Although I'd have Shaheen's chances of winning slightly ahead of Ernst). Shaheen has a 2-4 point lead and the race is a tossup/lean D.

Shaheen's race to lose at this point. Obviously, things can change between now and election day.

Hoping for Brown, as we need more Republicans like him in DC, but I like and respect Shaheen very much.

The carpetbagger thoroughly deserves the harsh and pitiless spanking that the Mistress of New Hampshire Politics will administer come the fourth.

Note to the humorless among us: I'm joking.

The polls in New Hampshire greatly underestimated Ayotte's super ultra megathrashing of Hodes in 2010.

It's always a mistake to assume that a vote from a swing voter represents support for the entire platform of a given candidate. Oftentimes, it's a vote for the "lesser of two evils". I highly doubt that the swing voters of NH who supported Obama in 2012 support 99% of his platform.

His entire platform never came up for a senate vote, so how can Shaheen have voted for 99% of it?

The White House announces in advance whether it will sign or veto a bill, so "voted XX% of the time with POTUS" claims are based on that.

As opposed to the joke that is Scott Brown? What's his plan for ObamaCare? Repeal it and replace it with RomneyCare? So I guess it will cover abortions after all?

I'd rather he lost in a landslide. Now that he's going to keep it close he's going to be encouraged to run for something else in the future. Who knows what state it will be in though.

Us?  Do you feel an intense connection to the NH Democratic Party?  Seriously, this isn't a Congressional race, where DC policies will be affected ... This board grows more partisan/hackish by the day.

Why? She has led in every single non-joke poll (as well as a handful of joke polls) the entire year.
