I remember a long time ago, back when this race was first taking shape, reading articles about how top Republicans were desperately trying to get someone to jump in the primary against Land. I was confused as to why, considering she was polling so well at the time. It turns out they were very prescient. At this rate Land is on track to lose by a bigger margin than Romney, even in much more favorable conditions for Republicans.
