Do you both really think that Howie will get 5%? Isn't it rather unusual for such a close three-way race?

Rounds- 39%
Weiland- 36%
Pressler- 21%
Howe- 4%

I was gonna have Weiland's % lower but his last ad was good. Pressler's been having bad PR and is low on $, IIRC, so many Dems considering him could go home to Weiland.

I have it about here too.  Rounds will get about 40% of the vote.

Turns out Pressler ended up helping Rounds rather than hurting him.

There's a lot of conservative dissatisfaction with Rounds, so I think Howie is going to have a solid showing.

Fun fact: CNN doesn't even include Weiland in its election center anymore. Tongue

In the counties colored in dark green Pressler came second.
In the counties colored in bright green he came third.

Fun fact: In one county Weiland is only the fourth-placed finisher, i. e. last place.
Can you find it?

I find it a bit surprising that Pressler didn't do better in the eastern parts of South Dakota; that's were his congressional district used to be.
