68 at college, 46 at home. Might be an underestimate for me.

Mine is a very walkable 75 - in the suburbs. Smiley That's the beauty of an old downtown that's become part of the suburban landscape. I have bars, restaurants, fast food, banks, groceries, liquor, drugstore, hardware, library, professional offices, and commuter rail within 0.4 mi (600 m) of my house. Grade school and high school, parks, pool, and fitness center are within 1 mi (1500 m).

97. I wonder what they'd need to build for it to get to 100.

Out of curiosity I tried the address of the place where I work in the city center and I got a 100. The only apparent difference between my house at 95 and work at 100 seems to be that at home the nearest park is 3 blocks away and at work the nearest one is 1 block away. So maybe it's not a matter of building but of location.

I don't think their methodology works for NYC.  If you look at what gets listed, it's pretty spotty. For example, they don't generally include bodegas.
