Not really. It seems consistent with the rest of the unaffiliated polls, and the fact that people are taking a poll from Louisiana that doesn't show Landrieu being completely slaughtered, just defeated as good news shows desperation and denial on the Democrats' part. It should also be noted that the jungle is tied which is HUGE and shows that Landrieu is quickly losing momentum, not gaining it in the slightest. I mean, muh PPP is a Democratic pollster as you can see on RCP from the label, yet every Democrat and some Republicans on this forum treats them like the untouchable gold standard, so why are Republican polls inaccurate and biased?

Vox Populi is one of the worst pollster. They had Wehby leading by 2 few month ago...

I'm not saying it's a good poll, just consistent with the others. The Wehby poll was clearly an outlier, and this isn't.

This poll isn't consistent with the others. Landrieu has never been tied with Cassidy in the first round;

I don't understand why Maness isn't getting a higher percentage despite almost everyone having endorsed him? Endorsements don't matter anything anymore, even when they come from every imaginable tea party group out there? The Tea Party seems to be either dead or struggling for its life in Louisiana. It did pretty well in neighbouring Mississippi though.

Democrats are deluded because the runnoff poll is within the margin of error? 'Shame on them.

Where do you get this idea that Landrieu is 'quickly losing momemtum'? Most of the last handful of primary polls shows Landrieu only up a few points. Having this at a tie wouldn't be necessarily suggest she's losing momentum.

Oh please, how many times have we seen this argument on here?

Personally, I've never called PPP the 'gold standard' but its a solid pollster. You're right, though; we should totally throw PPP's years worth of accuracy out the window and trust Vox Populi, which just launched last year!

He thinks that because Maness is losing support to Cassidy (which was always going to happen), it means Landrieu is losing support.

Because one party's pollsters have excellent track records and are actual polling firms, while the other party was so incensed by 2012 polling showing bad results for them that they literally started making up numbers. Oh, and PPP > some joke n00b R firm, duh.

It's simply the most idiotic attack against PPP - yes, they may have a relationship with the Dem, they're also the most reliable at the state level for two straight elections. They're trusted because they're GOOD.

Weird poll. I don't see how Landrieu has a chance in the run-off if she's only in the jungle.
