I believe this as much as I would believe a poll showing Scott +6.

That's amazing. According to 538, SurveyUSA is like the 3rd best pollster in the US after Selzer & Company and The Field Poll, so this can only be glorious news.

The poll showed Scott leading by five like a week ago.

SurveyUSA can be sort of erratic, so I wouldn't be surprised to see something different next week. That said, it's good to see a clear shift toward Crist.

Flo's right, these tracking polls have been erratic and random and only serve to re-emphasize that the race is a tossup.

Isn't this like the Colorado poll that used to show Dems with a small but solid lead but now shows that opposite with no apparent causal stimulus?

Tracking polls are usually unreliable and have very high margins of error.

Bottom line, it's a deadheat of a race and we know that. This one probably doesn't get called until the next morning.
Living in south FL though, many Democrats are very concerned and Charlie Crist (as a Democrat) isn't exactly inspiring Democrats to go to the polls to knockout Rick Scott of all people.
The FL Democratic Party (to reiterate a broken record)...what a mess!

To the benefit of Crist, FL doesnt have statue taxes, and cant be tied down to raising taxes. But, then again was the QU poll accurate, the only one showing GOP doing reasonably well.

The criminal still hasn't learned. He better get his villainous record expunged if he ever wants to make it through Checkpoint Charlie.

RCP now has Democrats gaining a net of 2 governor seats.
The Dem wave is building.
