I'm sure we've all come across this situation.  But with the choices I've given I really hope this is a one sided poll.  If option 3 or option 5 are chosen then you don't need to have a drivers lisence.  Smiley

Ignore it.

On a sort of unrelated note, anyone with stickers reading "U CAN'T B BOTH CATHOLIC AND PRO-CHOICE" or other aggravating political crap (liberal or conservative) deserves slashed tires. I wouldn't do it myself, but I also have no sympathy.

I saw a car with bumper stickers going back to 1980 always supporting a losing candidate (Perot in '92 and '96.)    Just gave me a laugh.

I always evaluate the type of car and if I can see the appearance of the person inside to determine the class reasons for their political position.

For example - Old Mercedes  = Democrat.
                       New Pickup     = Republican
                       Funky Volvo    = Democrat
poor person in = typically Republican with lots
beater car           of those religious fish

Can anyone else contribute?

Volvo drivers tend to be latte liberals.  You're definitely right on that.

I ignore bumper stickers.  If anybody's mind can be changed by a bumper sticker, that person is dangerously impressionable.  I put no political bumper stickers on my car for that reason.

Do you prefer the term "limousine liberal?"  Latte liberal is a little more contemporary, but I could use "limousine liberal" if you like that better....

Really depends.

Political diversity is a good thing.

However, if the person drives like an As*hole or has a New Jersey license plate, I am very much inclined to follow State's lead.

i was driving around one day and saw a stereotypical redneck guy driving an old beat up pickup with a confederate flag sticker.....and a 'harvey gantt for senate' bumper sticker.

needless to say, he didnt fit the image of the typical gantt supporter.

You realize this only confirms in their minds that they're right in supporting the people that you oppose...

Cursing at people in front of their kids does your political views no credit.

Oh and by the way, whispering that and standing fifty feet away from them (when they don't even know/care about you) doesn't make you cool.

If it's just a supporting the party sticker, I don't do anything. If it's a sticker supporting Kerry or Bush(or anyone else for that matter), I just feel sad to myself that people are too lazy to remove them so long after the election. Roll Eyes (at least one guy who has a 'defend america, defeat bush' crossed out defeat and replaced it with impeach)

I actually saw a car parked in a high school parking lot that had a John Kerry bumper sticker on it.  I found it a bit strange.

Considering what a horrid failure most major democrat campaigns have been recently, I'm usually able to have a good laugh at them.

That's nothing, in 2000 I saw a Hillary Clinton for Senate sign on my way to school .

Come to think of it, I actually just saw a guy in my economics class at university wearing an "Obama for Illinois" sweatshirt a few weeks ago.  Yes, after Obama had already won.

Got me.

I don't put bumper stickers on my car, though I would if Tancredo ran probably. If someone has bumper stickers that sufficiently irritate me I'm not going to show them particular courtesy, but I'm not going to do anything either.

Mostly I just want people to drive correctly.
