Seems that there are lots of posts about gay folks lately.  Are gays normal?  Should gay people serve openly in the army?  Should homosexuals be allowed to adopt children?

Guess there are not enough pressing issues to discuss.  I don't know whether, if I were gay, I'd enjoy all the attention or recoil from it.  What about you?

I don't think I'd enjoy it.

The next topic will come when it comes. Asking for one isn't gonna make it so.

No, it's a random encounter enemy in the SNES RPG Earthbound that for whatever reason became a silent internet phenomenon, but that's not the point. Wink

Bob, I don't think I would either.

Gabu
it's probably made from the sorts of polymers that don't biodegrade for centuries and contribute to the destruction of biological habitats and get caught in plumbing and marine motor fixtures.  its production porbably required hydrocarbons whose preparation leads to deforestation of large tracts of land.  the scarcity of the products used in its production mean that we must spend millions of dollars annually to protect their sources, with armed guards and even armies.  but that's not really the point either is it?

The next topic will come when it comes. Asking for one isn't gonna make it so.

John Dibble, a wise and considered post.  I was just ranting I suppose.

I'll shut up now   Smiley

We can always debate over what blunt object we would like to see utilized against certain residents of The Congressional District That Shall Not Be Named. Smiley

I thought about some of the PA posters last night when I was watching Hardball and Matthews was interviewing a priest and saying that states in which Catholics formed a large plurality generally went for abortion-friendly candidates, "...except Pennsylvania, of course."  To which the priest replied, "yeah, and thank God I'm from Pennsylvania."  I thought it was an interesting comment.

if I hadn't already seen electoral maps of Texas and Ireland, I'd have thought that Pennsylvania had terribly cut districts.  But by comparison, the gerrymanders in PA are not so bad after all.

You can't find a single Hardball episode when Matthews doesn't bring up PA. He's from the state. In fact, he's actually from NE Philly (where both Flyers and I live).

Gabu, I am glad you didn't go into detail with your post. I don't support the use of that language against Flyers.  Tongue
