Since we had one for the most recent Republican candidates Bush vs. Dole, I felt it was only fair we did it for the Dems too.  Who would you vote for?

I'm scared of what this country would be like under a Kerry presidency, but I'm not convinced of Al Gore's sanity.

Kerry-R.

Agreed.  I would have to go grudgingly for Kerry as well as I'm not sure Al Gore has all his sandwhiches in his picnic basket.   You know, Bill Clinton doesn't look half bad when you compare him to these two.

I vote for former President Al Gore, even though he didn't do much as President.

What's with all the Republicans voting for the supposedly most liberal Senator?

Kerry is by far the most liberal senator, having voted against Gulf War I, opposed all serious tax relief, and run a campaign on soaking the rich, something I thought we had gotten past in this country.

However, he is not insane, which Gore certainly appears to be. The GOP Congress would mitigate the effects of either one, but I still prefer sanity to the opposite.

I don't have much faith in Kerry, but Gore is just nuts!   Hail to the Chief-President Kerry.

Why do you like Clinton but not Gore or Kerry?  Gore and Kerry had nothing to do with Lewinskygate.  Smiley

Gore's wife scares me.  Well Kerry's does too, but Teresa Heinz didn't start the PMRC.  Based on that and nothing much else, I say Kerry, grudgingly.  Still if chainsaw were an option...   ;  )

Although Bill Clinton is the best at communicating a concern for average Americans and political issues, of the three he is the most self-interested. I believe Gore and, to a lesser extent, Kerry truly care about solving problems in this country. Clinton wanted successes to tout his own accomplishments.

Ah, many people in my college dorm hated Tipper Gore because of the PMRC and warning labels.  I thought they were a good idea, and I still do.  Believe it or not, many people mistook me for a conservative over this issue.  Smiley

Don't go putting words in my mouth.   Did I say I like Clinton?  No, and if I ever do say such a thing, I want my next to kin to have me committed to a mental institution.   I simply said that compared to Gore and Kerry, Clinton doesn't look bad.   THat simply means that I can tolerate Clinton, even though I find him to be a disgusting human being, a lot more than I could tolerate Gore or Kerry.

Either would be far superior to the current occupant, but Kerry is a better social liberal.  He gets my vote.

Bump.  What's with people calling Al Gore a populist?  That guy is nuts.  He's a gun-hater and he's pro-abortion (so is Kerry, but nobody calls him populist).  Also, Gore wanted to expand the death penalty so that being a drug kingpin would be a capital offense.  On that alone, Kerry gets my vote.

Ah yes, good call on the Death Penalty. too late to change my vote, though.
