Ishan/AGA for President - The Liberal Alternative

Thank you folks for being here, it's so nice to be back in my homecity of Pittsburgh.

I am not running for President to win - but to spread liberal ideas and liberal solutions and various other common sense solutions throughout this campaign, I will be detailing various ideas I think should be adapted and I think there should be more of a debate about various things in Atlasia, these are the reasons why I am running. I hope to get your vote so the ideas I propose can get into the mainstream and be adopted.

I am glad to be running with my friend AGA - a wonderful Senator and former Chancellor who is a fighter for liberal ideas which help people - and someone who cares about the game. I picked AGA to be my running mate because I have great respect for him and because of what he has done in Atlasia.

Throughout this campaign, I plan on campaigning in every subregion, and I plan on proposing ideas which will help Atlasia - and as someone who believes in a better and more fun Atlasia, I think there should be more of a debate about the various aspects of this game and the policies of this game - something which will enhance Atlasian society.

The Liberal Manifesto

A plan for a responsible government

• Cabinet officials should reconfirmed every (presidential) term by the Senate.
• Following a resignation - there should be a special election to fill the position - regardless if the resigning official is a at-large Senator or if they are a President.
• We believe in codifying cabinet positions in the constitution to prevent abuse.
• NPC elections should come back in some way or form.
• The Vice President should have some purpose or be abolished.
• Ask Virginia to seperate the regional governments into separate childboards.
• Atlasia and Canada should unify so the game can be enhanced.

A plan for a responsible Atlasian foreign policy

• We should protect our allies and expand NATO to become a international organization.
• We should fight for human rights worldwide and condemn and oppose governments which violate human rights and cut support to these regimes and encourage the release of political prisoners.
• We should recognize various countries in the world which aren't recognized  - Somaliland and Kurdistan.
• We should fight for global environmental action to ensure that other countries will do their fair share to fight against the threat of climate change.

A plan for a better Atlasian society

• We should eliminate dumb regulations which hurt Atlasians and restrict their rights.
• We should respect the rights of regions, states, and municipalities.
• We should fight for a fiscally responsible Atlasia to ensure that our prosperity can be shared by future generations.
• We should respect the rights of Atlasian citizens and oppose government intrusion on the lives of Atlasians.
• We should do more to get mainstreet small businesses to thrive.
• We should protect and make Atlascare and other public services better.
• Atlasia should bring more refugees to Atlasia because it is morally right to do so.
• Atlasia should the best place in the world to live in.
