OK, this race is legitimately tightening.  I am not sure why though.

Senator Walsh now has a great accomplishment to run on.
http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/senate/213093-senate-bill-to-end-tax-breaks-for-outsourcing-stalls#ixzz38JsfsFXZ

His bill to end tax breaks for shipping jobs overseas passed with over 90 votes just now.

Gravis. Don't care. You guys never regard other polls by Gravis. Why suddenly take them serious now?

Odd that this is so close but the Republican is leading by 12 in the House race. I know this is a higher profile race, but still.

Yeah, I think I'll wait for a real pollster (i.e. not Gravis or an internal) to confirm or deny PPP's findings.

The GOP won that House race anyways in 2012 when Jon Tester won.  I think Walsh, like Tester is the comeback kid.

Just like he narrowly won with Gov Bullock in 12 as well.

That's what's sitting in the back of my mind. Tester was widely expected to lose. Granted, in 2012 there was a spoiler.

Yup, because Rand's plagiarism (which is confirmed, not allegations) has hurt him sooooo much. Mhm. Safe R everyone.

I'm hoping Walsh's team responds well to this. He may not win, but he can make the GOP spend money here.

IIRC Daines won by 10 and Tester won by 4, so a 6-point Republican difference isn't out of the realm of possibility.

Yeah, but it doesn't help that MT is a pretty cheap state.

If Democrats can take this from the Republicans, this would make it that much harder for them to win.
