I see him as a straight D voter since 1992, but he probably voted for Reagan and George H.W. Bush twice. At least assuming that he's that old, but he was in the pilot.

Actually according to one episode, the 2008 election was the first time Peter Griffin ever voted in an election.

I could see him trying to vote in a Presidential election like 1976, and then saying "Who are these guys? You have to know so much! This is so hard! Screw this, I'm going to the Clam!"

RI is a one party state and a working class guys in the communities bordering Providence are the bread & butter of the state's Democratic Party (which is why it's the most socially conservative Democratic Party in New England). Peter probably votes Democrat.

That was just on yesterday! He did say he voted/stuffed the ballot box in the Oscar election before that, though. Tongue  idk, I want to say Peter voted for Obama given how Brian can persuade him into doing anything, but Peter doesn't even know Obama's last name so he probably did a write-in vote for Barack You-bama. Tongue

Lois is a Republican who probably voted for Romney I think because she grew up filthy rich for one and she's hinted that she's socially conservative on things like marijuana and gay rights. Plus she gets in a lot of arguments with Brian, a liberal Democrat.

Actually according to another episode, Lois said that she voted for Obama once, and this episode was made after the 2012 election, so Lois is either a McCain 08'/Obama 12' voter, or a Obama 08'/Romney 12' voter.

Probably the latter. Lois is more likely to identify with Romney, considering her dad is a carbon copy of him.

Al Bundy would only vote if he was being directly affected by the President. I can see him voting Libertarian if he did vote though.

Peggy Bundy, on the other hand, would definitely have voted for Obama, to try and get more welfare money for home shopping and bon-bons.

Peter: Obama
Lois: Romney
Meg and Chris: Probably supported Obama, but too young to vote.
Brian: Staunch liberal that either voted for Obama or Stein. Most likely voted for Obama.
Stewie: Staunch Republican that supported Romney. Stewie has expressed his political conservatism many times throughout the series, but obviously too young to vote.

I'm pretty sure he's a Republican based on the things he's said and done in the past

Normally Democratic Voter, who voted for Trump.

He's 46 (atleast according to Family Guy wiki), so this is probably his voting record.

1996: Didn't Vote
2000: Didn't Vote
2004: Bush
2008: Obama
2012: Obama
2016: Trump

In one election Peter voted for Mighty Mouse, but I don't know which election Meg was referencing when she said "the last election". It was in the episode where Meg and Peter go to Vermont for her college interview and become friends.

That episode came out in 2014, so 2012 I’d assume.

A person like Peter Griffin- a middle-class Irish American Rhode Island baby boomer with some college- is probably a swing voter. Registered Democrat who voted Republican in the '80s because of crime, came back for Clinton, went Bush because of national security, voted Obama because of the economy, voted Trump and might go Biden in 2020.

The interesting one would be Stan Smith from American Dad, who might actually be a Romney-Clinton voter due to the neocon connections.

I have a feeling Stan Smith would have a very bad reaction at the summer 2020 protests, although in the end the crossfire influence of his daughter Hayley on one side and of the Kristol/Rubin crowd on the other would convince him vote for Biden.

1976 - Carter (for honesty)
1980 - Reagan (because of the economy)
1984 - Mondale (where's the beef heheheheheheheheh)
1988 - Dukakis (only because Lois' dad is voting for Bush)
1992 - Perot (he likes that crazy Texan with all his charts)
1996 - Clinton (because the economy's good)
2000 - Bush (Peter finds Gore stiff and unrelatable, and wants a tax cut)
2004 - Bush (Lots of post-9/11 Fox News watching made Peter more conservative for awhile)
2008 - Obama (because of the economy)
2012 - Obama (mostly because Lois' dad is voting for Romney)

2016 - Johnson (doesn't like Trump or Hillary and Hillary's winning RI anyway)
2020 - Biden (because of the economy)

Wasn’t Lois the one pulling Brian back to the left in that Rush Limbaugh episode? I highly doubt she would have ever voted Republican, much less for Trump.

And now they’ve made that episode with Peter beating the crap out of Trump, so no way in hell is he voting for him. Maybe he did in 2016, but not now.
