His Kingdom is not of this Earth, and as such he would abstain from terrestrial politics.

Alternately, he would start a monarchist party.

You can't really pick a middle ground here, either he's a conventional terrestrial messiah who wishes to restore the House of David to its place ruling the land, or he's a Son of God figure who wants to help his followers discover the Kingdom of Heaven.  Either way, no contemporary political party would have much to offer him.
