Opebo could get a job. As a Walt Brown for president campaign advisor. As for a Republican winning Vermont, Hagel vs. Bredesen is the answer to the question.

If Puerto Rico ever asks for statehood, it will be granted.
Options 1 and 2 are unlikely for 2008.
Any chance of option 3 in the next two decades died when ANWR finally got opened up.
Option 5 ain’t going to happen because who would hire him?

I agree. Smiley One day, those eeeevil lower 48ers will push us too far...  We'll claim our independence. Then form an alliance and soverign nation with Hawaii. Afterwards, sell Alaskan oil to the now 48 state America at something like $150 a barrel. And Hawaii will drastically raise the prices on their coffee exports to the U.S. and levy all sorts of taxes on tourists. Cheesy Wink

Alaskan independence.

after the oil supply there dries up, we'll kick that biotch to the curb.

Hawaii will be sad because it'll no longer have a big sister to look up to.

I must say out of these my getting a job is the most likely, horrible as that may be.  I have had jobs before, many years ago.  Now, as for keeping a job for any length of time, not very likely.

Alaskan Independence.
What would be unlikely is that an Alaskan would get elected president.

Puerto Rican statehood is quite plausible.
