West Virginia whites are more Democratic than North Carolina whites.  Kind of interesting when you think about it, considering that Obama almost carried the latter state in 2012 (and actually carried it in 2008).

Because North Carolina has a huge Black population, so he didn't need to get that much of the white vote.
