Push between the LP and the Democrats...really depends on which elements go where.

What Republican views do you have?

Very free market oriented, pro business, pro property rights, for lower taxes, for less spending...

Citizens who have not committed a crime should have the right to protect themselves.

So yeah, in general I support 2nd amendment rights...if you want to get into the concept of a limit if any...well...I'm not quite sure its reasonable for my neighbor to protect himself with a howitzer.

I'm not quite sold on vouchers...not so much because they take money out of public schools, but because they put public money in private schools (at times)...at which point I get worried about government intrusion into private schools. Here's where I get to be a tad "librul"...I'm pro empowerment...society needs to invest in the future of its younger members...if thats through public schools (which have a mixed record)...more privatization (which seems to work) or only private schools (I don't know if thats the option which works for everybody...but I believe in private school education)...then do it.

Essentially I'm concerned about the end result rather than which route picked to get there.

So you're basically a libertarian Republican. Certainly not very Democratic.

I didn't vote, but I already left the Republican Party  because I consider it to have disintegrated.  The GOP is gone, now we have only the Religious Party.  I feel very happy being a Democrat!

Fiscally Conservative, Very Socially Liberal...given my social views theres obviously some common ground with democrats (just as the libertarians do agree with them on social issues)...but I think the democrats rely too much on government

I was a dues-paying member of the GP before I became a Republican.  Don't think I'll go back, though.  Tough question, this.  One thing's for sure:  NOT DEMOCRAT.

I know Democrats, Democrats are friends of mine, you opebo are NO Democrat.

You are to the left of the most liberal Democrats in Congress. To say you are a Democrat besmirches the Party of Jackson.

How am I so far left?  Check out my political compass score below.  Quite liberal socially, but moderate economically.  True, the Democratic Party of 2005 is fairly Right-Leaning, but I would fit in well with the Democrats of the 1960's.

the Democratic Party of the 1960s was still largely the party of the New Deal fashioned by FDR, and was essentially economically populist, and relatively socially authoritarian -a complete flip of your own positions.  they were populists -you are a libertarian....i doubt you would fit in with that party.  it's base was primarily the white working class, particularly those in labor unions.

you are probably confusing the Sixties movements with the Democratic Party.

Well, Roe V. Wade didn't come out of nowhere.  But I do take your point, the national Democratic party has always been somewhat wanting.  But still, it isnt quite as bad as the Religious Party.

Libertarian Party in a heartbeat. Hopefully enough pro-interventionalist come in from the Republican Party to change the party platform to something less pacifist.
