Massachussetts, of course. I would think anyone would choose that over DC, regardless of party.

The Republicans will pretty much all choose Massachusetts as it has fewer Blacks.

I would choose Massachusetts simply because it offers a broader range of living options than DC.

Massachusetts is a state, while DC is only a city.  If you live in Massachusetts, you can live anywhere from downtown Boston, to a cabin in the Berkshires.

DC offers only urban living, though it has some very nice sections in the NW quadrant.

Why would anyone in their right mind, whatever party, choose DC?

Yeah, that's why Republicans are fleeing the South in droves and moving to Vermont.

We need a "sarcasm" smiley face.

Not a Republican, but DC, because it has more lax laws on strip clubs.

S. MA is OK. Plymouth county and Barnstable are politically tolerable, scenic, and quiet.
