They are true, but they miss the point I assume they are trying to counter (the old "gays shouldn't get married because they can't reproduce" canard).

This is just further proof that the government should not attempt to apply a one-size fits all heterosexual relationship contract to all sexual relationships. The situation can be easily remedied by treating all people equally under the law, pursuant to the equal protection clause.

Yes, the obvious answer to this whole issue is for government to get out of the marriage business altogether and stop subsidizing it implicitly through the tax code. The "nuclear family" is a fairly recent evolution in human societal structure and there's no reason to think that it will be with us forever and even less reason to think that it is the best way of organizing human society and should be preserved at all costs.

All of these couples may or may not be able to sexually reproduce with one another depending on whether the genitalia of the Trans individuals have been altered through hysterectomy, oophorectomy et al, so it is certainly not a given. The caption is stupid.

FWIW all of the hypothetical couples in these could be legally married in any US state, so I doubt that was the point.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the cis female in the second one described as "pansexual" rather than "bisexual".
