46-41 Cotton/Pryor

Pryor remains relatively popular in the red state — 45 percent have a favorable opinion of him, while 36 percent view him unfavorably. But in this poll, like all others in the state, President Obama's unpopularity is dragging him down. Obama's approval rating is 35 percent in the state.

The live-caller poll of 500 likely voters was conducted from May 27-29 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.39 percentage points.

Since the beginning of the year, Pryor has led in nearly every poll not conducted by a Republican polling outfit, or Rasmussen.

Maybe he isn't in the trouble that everybody is saying he is.
