i must admit i find canadians (as a whole) to be much more annoying than europeans.  they have a pompous, arrogant, and 'we are better than you' attitude.

generally, i have no problem with arrogance.  but when you have nothing to be arrogant about, it gets a bit irritating.

Funny, I sometimes say that.  If you want to be arrogant, have something to be arrogant about.

I think it's regrettable that the Canadians have taken such an anti-US turn recently, considering how well-treated they have been, overall, by the US.  If they doubt that, they should ponder the fate of countries like Poland, and realize how indispensible it is for weak countries to have neighbors that don't attack them.

I am negative toward that Canadians who don't appreciate the great blessing bestowed on them by geography.  Not only have we not attacked them, we have effectively defended their rich land from any foreign power who might have coveted it.  The Canadians are very lucky people indeed.

Most Canadians I know are not against the U.S. at all. In fact, I believe polls show Canadians like the U.S. a lot. It's the Bush administration they dislike.

Canada is far preferable to France... THAT is a country I don't like. That's something at least. And the Canadians on this board are great.

they're really rude drivers.  The only time I ever got flipped the bird while driving was driving home from Toronto while in Ontario.  Other than that, neutral I guess...

I don't think they're arrogant - certainly not compared to the record-setting arrogance of americans (talk about being arrogant for no good reason).  Besides, Canadians have plenty to be proud of - they are definitely freeer than americans, and have a somewhat better quality of life for the lower classes.

The canadians Ive met have all been nice, the only one that come to mind are friends from school who I didnt even know where from Canada tell a few months into the semester. The ones hear on the forum are cool also. Ive read stories about arrogant canadians and anti - americanism, but have not actually expierienced it.
