David Perdue 26%
Karen Handel 18%
Jack Kingston: 17%
Paul Broun: 12%
Phil Gingrey: 11%
Other: 3%
Undecided: 13%

The IVR phone interview of 531 likely voters conducted on Wednesday, May 7, is weighted for age, race and gender. The survey has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.2%, with a confidence level of 95%.

The worst for you Democrats, but the best for the GOP.  Hope she can pull it out.  Most polls have it much closer than this anyway.

Really? Perdue and Kingston seem both to be better candidates than her.

Really? Perdue and Kingston seem both to be better candidates than her.
Kingston is a lackluster campaigner who is quite out of touch with the voters, similar to Romney. I think Perdue and Handel are the best candidates. Handel is more populist and a very active candidate, but Perdue has the advantage of business experience and strong fundraising capabilities, so I'd say they are both strong.

As someone who wants to see Democrats win in Georgia, I also want to see Handel win the nomination

As someone who wants to see Democrats win in Georgia, I also want to see Handel win the nomination

People really have a history of underestimating her; I wouldn't say it'll be any cakewalk with her as the nominee. I've already been wrong once this cycle about her - she's surging at the perfect time, just like he did in 2010. Let's also not forget that her being nominated takes the War on Women card out of our deck and allows Handel to attack Nunn in ways that Kingston or Perdue simply couldn't.
