B.003 PUBLIC ART ACT
1) The Pacific Government shall construct public art projects across the region.

2) Funding will come from a toll on sections of highways that have over 50,000 cars travel on them per day.

3) The first public art project will be to construct a 300 foot statue of Jesus Christ on the campus of the Pacific Government in San Francisco.

B.004 THE ALOCHOL REFORM ACT
1) The legal age for the purchase and consumption of alcohol shall be reduced from 21 to 18.

B.005 THE MARIJUANA REFORM ACT
1) Marijuana shall be legalized for the adult population.

2) Restrictions will be the same as those on alcohol. (No driving high, selling to kids, etc.)

B.006 THE DEATH PENALTY REFORM AND SLAVE CAMP ACT
1) The death penalty will be outlawed in the Pacific Region.

2) Instead of capital punishment, the worst of the worst shall be sent to a slave camp in an area to be later designated (Probably in Nevada or some desert somewhere else) where they shall be slaves for the rest of their lives, serving the people of the Pacific.

3) Unless somehow found innocent of the crime accused of, prisoners will never be able to leave the camp.

B.007 THE PORN REFORM ACT
1) The legal age for the purchase of pornography will be lowered to the age of 14, region-wide.

B.008 THE OFFICIAL ANIMAL OF THE PACIFIC ACT
PART 1:  Do you want the Pacific Region do have an "official" animal?

PART 2: If the act passes, which animal would you prefer? You may select three choices, your first choice will get three points, your second choice will get two points, and your third choice will get one point.

B.009 THE HOBO-CRIMINALIZATION ACT
1) Being homeless will be illegal.

2) Punishment is going to jail.

3) All hobos go to jail, no more hobos. Problem solved!

B.010 Pacific Concealed Carry Act

Section 1
Any citizen of the Pacific region who has completed a safety course on gun use may apply for a license to conceal and carry a handgun on their person in public areas. These licenses must be renewed every 5 years.

Section 2
The Govenor may enter into reciprocity agreement with other regions regarding concealed carry of handguns. If such an agreement is entered, concealed carry licenses issued by such regions shall be considered valid in the Pacific region.

Section 3
Any citizen of another region with which the Pacific region does not have a reciprocity agreement, may apply for a conceal carry license in the Pacific region. All rules for Pacific citizens regarding these licenses shall apply.

Section 4
Any person who has been convicted of a violent crime or robbery may not receive a license unless they have commited no crimes above a misdemeanor for five years in a row after having served their sentence and

    * having been legally employed for at least two years;
    * having been married to someone meeting the requirements of the previous bullet; or
    * being above the legally defined retirement age.

Section 5
The cost of application and renewal of a license shall be $50. This money will go to maintaining the infrastructure to carry out applications and to pay for FBI background checks.

Section 6
Concealed carry of handguns may be disallowed in government owned buildings, including but not limited to court houses and schools. The policy for each building or building type may be determined by the government responsible for the building, be it federal, regional, state, or local.

Section 7
Private property owners may disallow concealed carry on their own property.

B.011 THE MARRIAGE REFORM BILL
PART 1 -Yes or no
1) "Marriage" is religious and the government should take no part in it.

2) Any couple, opposite or same sex, will be able to apply for a civil union that will have the same rights as marriage currently has.

3) Religious organizations will be able to give marriages to those they see fit, but they will have no legal power with the government.

PART 2 - yes or no
1) Any individual will be able to marry as many people as he or she wishes, as long as the other person is a consenting adult.

A.002 THE MAKE THE PACIFIC UNIQUE ACT
1) The "Governor" of the Pacific shall now be called the King of the Pacific.

2) It is important to note that despite the title of King, the Governor/King will still have to face elections and this will not be a dynasty!

3) Why? To make the Pacific different!!!!!!!!

A.003 THE PACIFIKA ACT
1) The Pacific Region will now be known as Pacifika. Why? Because  it will be easier to pronounce the name of our region! Also, the K is wwaayyy cooler than the stupid C.

2) Residents of Pacifika will be known as Pacifikans.

A.004 THE CAPITAL RENAMING ACT
1) San Francisco is a religious but Spanish name.

2) The Pacific Region is an English speaking area.

3) Therefore the capital should be renamed to a religious English name.

4) San Francisco will be renamed New Jerusalem.

R.001 THE MIKE NASO IS A TERRORIST ACT
1) The Pacific Government, aftering viewing video tape in which Mike Naso admits to being a terrorist and a friend of Osama Bin Laden, bans Mike Naso from the Pacific Region.

R.002 THE BRITISH COLUMBIA ANNEXATION ACT
1) The Pacific Government will offer the Canadian government 1 billion dollars for the province of British Columbia.

2) British Columbia will join Atlasia as a state and join the Pacific Region.
