Ask me a half a year ago, and tell me this could be a competitive race, and I would've told you "lol no". Wow has time changed.

Those ACA/Obama numbers make me a hint wary of this poll. Nearly 60% dissapproval in a state he won twice?

Colorado seems to be one of the most fiscally conservative democratic states.
Seriously, Colorado is full of Nappycrats.

Here's the report. Gardner leads 53/38 with men, Udall 52/38 with women. Gardner leads Indies 43/41. Economy tops for 16%, healthcare for 14%. Udall approval 42/42, Gardner 30/18.

Gardner really needs to close up the gender gap, but it seems that he is keeping this race very competitive. In my opinion, this could end up being this year's closest Senate race if the Republicans are doing well in the South.

If Gardner pulls it off and wins 48% to 46% Udall for senator and Hickenlooper holds onto his governor seat, then that will restore more balance to the state which had solid democrat control for a while.

Just checked the 2012 exit polls and Obama did better with males than females in CO. Wow.

Udal's approval is not bad though.
It's all about making Gardner's worse.

Precisely. Which is why Gardner has to run soft-focus social ads in Denver ASAP and define himself positively before Udall's WOW ads get to those swingy moderate suburban women.

If so smart move on Gardner's part. It would be good for other GOP candidates to do this too before the Democrats resort to the same shallow and dishonest "paint them all with the same brush" tactics that seems to have worked so well for them in 2012 and 2013.
