Anyone know what the Church's rule is for alcohol consumption on Good Friday, or if it is unclear?

Alcohol consumption is not forbidden and does not in general count as eating. As such having a beer or a glass of wine, etc. is seen as no different than a glass of milk. Jello shots would count as eating though.

To think an omnipotent deity cares whether or not an animal ingests booze on a random day is beyond a useless task.  By the virtue of the question I recommend you get hammered.
