Same here.  She is a vindictive and mean spirited little shrew.

Really?  Was it on the ground that he was a moderate Republican or was she one of these idiots bothered by the Blow Job?

Certainly I like her ridicule of Bush and Co.

That doesn't mean anything.  Do you mean as evidenced by his Republicanism or his getting blow jobs?  or something else?

Oh lord!  She is one of the idiots bothered by the Blow Job of infidelity!  I wish I could change my vote.

She's freaky and wears too much lipstick.  Because of that I can't listen to any interviews with her and I don't get NYT so I don't read her writing much either.

first option. am i the only one here attracted by strong and intelligent women like Maureen Dowd?  i recall her saying once in one of her pieces that she has had trouble trying to find mates because most of the men she encounters are downright scared and intimidated by her.

I'm backwards.

Not only is she dead wrong in supporting the continued enslavement of Muslims because, to her, freeing them would be imposing our arbitrary values (like outlawing wife beating), but her columns are based far less on intelligence and wit and more on sarcasm and whining.

You want a great woman columnist? Try Peggy Noonan.

They're enslaved by their own religious beliefs.

positive.

what's this super-positive?  sounds too japanese sitcom or something.

Maureen Dowd is a harsh critic of our boy George, no doubt.  But she's generally out front about it.  Never met the bitch, but I do deeeclare I find her pen witty and engaging.
