Why won't PPP poll this race?
I bet they do, but the problem is they got to listen to their poll respondents who pick the most overrated races possible. Oregon isn't overrated per say like Texas, though it was only picked from outrage at the Harper polls there.
Out of all primary polls so far, Harper has been the most pro-Cochran by far. They haven't polled the general yet either and seem to have their eyes already set on a Cochran v. Childers matchup poll following the June 3rd primary for the sake of solidifying an R hold and probably ending up with a smaller margin of error with Cochran/Childers than if they were to poll McDaniel/Childers.
If that 53-35 gap among Tea Party voters is true though, then it goes to show how much the Cochran gaffe of not knowing what the Tea Party was hurt him and how he's better off not trying to out-maneuver McDaniel on who can be more conservative, but rather rally his base and make sure they show up to the polls because that's the only way he survives. For now, it leans Cochran I would say.
