I urge all Americans to disregard this agent of chaos and focus on our impending victory alongside our friends and the rewards this victory will reap for our nation

Rewards?  Does that mean you plan to annex the other side of the Bering Strait?  Or are our "friends" going to gift pieces of silver upon you for our treasury as a reward betraying the Prince of Peace much as another received silver.  I do hope that if this is the case, you get more than thirty considering the blood and treasure you have caused us to expend in this war.  If you are expecting gratitude from them, then you clearly have paid no need to history.  The potentates of this world have seldom shown a sense of honor or gratitude when doing so would impede them from taking what they want.  I hope that it may yet be a good while before they prove yet again the virtue of the advice concerning placing your trust in princes that Machiavelli penned some centuries ago.  I fear that we shall be the next target of their thirst for blood and plunder.
The United States of America has never been stronger then we are today.... we are showcasing our Navy as we join our friends in opposing a brutal regime. The diplomatic successes we have had have kept us far more safe then even our military successes. You watch- you will see

Hey Smiley So I'm on holiday from April 30th evening (European time) to May 4th. I might eventually be online for a short time, but I'll certainly won't have the time to play this game with you nerdsgreat guys.
Maybe you just play for about four days without Germany?

What?! How dare you to have a life?!

I hope it won't delay the game any longer (we're already all very eager to see what's next), so maybe a regency (either Lumine, Windjammer or someone else taking over during Wilhelm III's "ilness") would be sensible.

Given Lumine's understandable reluctance to take over a major power, I think we can indeed give Windjammer more work Wink

Ok. Yeah, Windjammer would be great, if he's willing to do it Tongue

What would our warmongeroverlord say?

(I think prolonged delays can destroy the game)

Turns in this game do tend to go awhile, so I'm not overly worried, but I hope we can get the next turn going soon or this game could end up dead.

Alright, gentlemen, after four exams, drinking obscene amounts of coffee and having sucessfully learnt a lot of useless knowledge on Ancient Greece, Antropology, Geography and Gothic Art, I'm back!

I discussed the whole situation with Windjammer, and he will take over as Germany this turn, acting as Chancellor Von Bulow while Wilhelm III recovers from a sickness that struck him while visiting the remains of the Krupp factories. He will also handle the whole Greenland affair, so all messages about that subject will go to him. I am currently working on the end turn update (Japanese election + map) and the next turn (I am thinking about more simple crisis or a lesser number, but we'll see), so we should be back on full force either tonight or tomorrow in the afternoon.

Thanks for your patience!

Well, I'm ready to represent Danemark and Germany. I will probably represent Austria because Oldiesfreak is inactive (I have asked Lumine to represent Austria as well).

Clarende, I'm ready for the negociations.
Snowstalker, Kal, we need to wait for the return of Lumine before continuing.

I guess I have to apologize here, and give you the good news, the bad news, and the not-so-good news. You see, as I was writing back on Wednesday I started to have vision problems, which then turned into a lot of pain, and then into having a nice couple of ulcers into my eyes thanks to problems related to my contact glasses. Therefore, I've been blind for the past couple of days, and unable to do anything.

The good news is that now I am only half-blind, which means I can resume work. The not-so-good news is that I can't force my eyes in front of a PC that much, so I may or may not finish today. Once again, my apologies!

I'm sorry to hear that Lumine.

Well, in the case you still have problems after the Russian War, I will start documenting myself about the current situation, in order to be more active and to let you end your eyes problems.

Alas, first the honorable gentlemen wants America to stay away from the European affairs and now he tells Europe what to do.

Some suggestions for next turn:

I would advise all of you that if you wish to give further orders or directives, or try and establish new systems and policies, please try to do so in a single message. I appreciate those efforts (and they give a great boost to players who do it), but having a bunch of PM's with a lot of ideas is only confusing me more and more, xD

I must say, from all the nasty moves I have seen since we started, claiming that Alexandra's next child is illegitimate is probably one of the worst, xD (specially since Edward VII is related to Nicholas II)

All in the name of propaganda

Wink

I had some even worse things planned, but refrained from using them... yet.
