They all have their charm(s). But Western Australia for its wilderness.

You don't need a scholarship to Oxford to be able to articulate the names geographical locations correctly.

I've lived in Perth/Western Australia, so I'd go with that. Tongue
Although it's a bit expensive.

The capital territory seems the most similar to Democratic Washington DC, so that.

Why is it madness? How you even been there? Tongue
It all depends what you're looking for. It's a lot of wildlife there for sure. There are even wild kangaroos in the middle of Perth city (on some island). You don't have to go to some zoo like you would in Sydney. Tongue

It looks like we have an illiterate here who doesn't understand how the genitive works in English.

The accidental deletion of that word was not as a result of a lack of factual knowledge, which the OP undoubtedly displays.
And we don't have a "Capital" vs "Capitol" scenario here either.

They all have their charm (except South Australia because Adelaide is apparently supes boring). Western Australia has amazing rural scenery, but it's expensive as , the red sand is all pervasive and it's being mined to death. Queensland is easily mocked (omg lol bogans!!), but it has the amazing Great Barrier Reef. Victoria is anchored around Melborne, which seems nice in a hipster sort of way; while NSW does have Sydney. Tasmania has great forests and the territories, err, have their appeal I guess.

I'll go with Victoria, with Queensland second.

It does, in the same way that calling your state "Eastern Virginia" would also get the point across, or calling it "Really Northern Carolina" for that matter...

Anyway, perhaps it's because the question is poorly worded, but no one has answered correctly yet.

In terms of visiting, definitely Queensland.  The Whitsundays (particularly Whitehaven Beach), Airlie Beach, Fraser Island, Cairns, the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree rainforest -what's not to like?
