TV Ad: Forward

JOE BIDEN: This November, America's at a crossroads. Now, I could have a marathon of people from the past telling you about my candidacy. But with the final ad of this campaign, we wanted to do something different. I'm Joe Biden, and you'd better believe I approve this message. (Fade out)

WOMAN: When Joe Biden came to Arizona, he invited me and other people in our community to talk about what America's tomorrow looks like. For us it means an education for our kids that they can be proud of. Joe knows that education is a promise.
Maria Gonzalez
Phoenix, AZ

MAN: Here in Ohio, we've lost more jobs than we've got. Families like mine have to pinch their pennies, but Joe is a fighter. Joe was the first to promise to raise the minimum wage so that hardworking families can make more than just ends meet. But if you watched the debate, you saw the effect his leadership had on the competition. In this campaign, and in the White House, only Joe Biden has been with us right from the start.
Kevin Blackburn
Toledo, OH

WOMAN: When terrorists aim to strike America, we know Joe Biden will hold the line and never stop fighting to protect America and our national security. And when no other candidate will even talk about what to do in Iraq, we know Joe Biden is the only honest candidate that is willing to talk straight and tell it like it is.
Jamie Giordano
Long Island, NY

MAN: So when you vote this November, you know there's only one candidate looking forward to ensure a better future for all hardworking Americans, and all of our children. We can stay standing still and stuck in the past or we can elect a President with his eye on the New American Century. And that's Joe Biden. Biden for America.
Richard McConnell
Jonesboro, AR

Dennis Kucinich Campaign Schedule: October 16-23

In my hand here is my copy of the Constitution that I carry around with me. Everyone in Washington swore an oath to uphold this document, but many have not lived up to their promises. Just in the last couple of years, we've seen illegal wars being waged, Americans' Fourth Amendment rights being scrapped away, and a whole host of other violations towards the rule of law and our basic civil liberties. This is unacceptable and it has to stop now. Republicans as well as Democrats have failed to defend the American people when it's their time to do so. Just look at a law like the PATRIOT Act, which passed overwhelmingly in both houses of Congress. Joe Biden voted for it in the Senate and Rudy Giuliani has been an outspoken supporter from the beginning. I'll be a president that dismantles the growing police state and restores your freedoms. I was endorsed by the ACLU very early on in this election, because I have the record that truly stands out among all the candidates on these issues. Will you join me in this fight for liberty?

Stars come out for Kucinich/Sanders!

Today at a press conference, four well known celebrities came together on stage: TV personality Phil Donahue, filmmaker Michael Moore, actor Bill Murray, and Dead Kennedys singer Jello Biafra. They joined in unison enthusiastically endorsing Dennis Kucinich, calling him the only candidate who will bring real change. "Do you want Washington D.C. to listen to you?" Murray asked. "I sure do! That's what Dennis will bring to the White House, and that's why I'm supporting him." Moore called Kucinich "the guy in this race who hasn't been bought and who can't be bought," adding that "we'll spend less on bombs across the world and more on building right here at home." All four touched on the growing frustration from Americans towards government and stressed that every vote is important.

In the last few weeks of the campaign, Biafra, Donahue, Moore, and Murray are expected to be active surrogates, appearing in rallies and advertisements. The Kucinich campaign expects an additional boost in the polls to come with star power behind their back now and intends to make the most out of it.

GOTV Memo

Our volunteer model is going fantastically. Phone bank and block walk events have averaged 20 volunteers nationwide. There are neighborhood volunteer teams in almost every town of every state. Phone banks have averaged 1,200 dials each, while block walks have averaged 940 voters reached. Last weekend, nationwide, 3,000 block walks were organized around the country. Additionally, 1,000 phone banks were held the same weekend.

Volunteers have worked off of scripts highlighting Senator Biden's leadership on the minimum wage, and the fact that he is the only candidate to talk straight about Iraq.

The campaign's scripts have been persuasion for the majority of the fall. As of October 17, we have successfully completed the dry run of our GOTV model, and all volunteer events are now focused solely on GOTV. Volunteers in phone banks are given lists that include the voter's early voting location, and a persuasion script if the voter is still undecided.

Talking Points

• Joe Biden is a fighter who will work for you in the White House.

• Joe Biden is the only one in this election willing to talk straight about Iraq.

• Gary Johnson's dangerous economy will put Americans on breadlines. He favors repealing the minimum wage and leaving the hardworking among us isolated and vulnerable to abuse from corrupt corporations such as ENRON.

• Rudy Giuliani is an insider who doesn't care about normal Americans. His corrupt appointments as Mayor of New York stole huge sums of money from the taxpayers, and turned the NYPD into a personal taxi service for his closest friends and confidantes.

• Dennis Kucinich is the sore loser of 2004. When the primary voters of his own party rejected his uncharismatic candidacy, he had to go it alone.

• Kucinich's running mate is a candidate who used the words "socialist" and "egalitarian" in the same sentence at the Vice Presidential debate.

•Blanche Lincoln has always been a fierce fighter for the people of Arkansas. As their Senator she has been a vigilant voice for the everyman in the U.S. Senate, and while presiding over the Senate as Vice President she will continue to keep that promise to all Americans, that they will always have a voice in the nation's capital.

•When he is President, Joe Biden will uphold his call for an economic patriotism rooted in the belief that growing our economy begins with a strong and thriving middle class.

TV ad to be run in all states:

Hello, I'm Gary Johnson. Over the course of the past many months you've heard my name spoken many times. The reason I am running for president is not for a power grab, not to satisfy my political allies, instead I am here because I want to make America great once more. I want to be a People's President. I want to beholden to you the American people, not big money, not political allies, YOU. I am here because I want you to LIVE FREE! So come November remember my name at the ballot, and that I am here to work for YOU.

Round XXXII: October 24-October 31st

Ten Days to go! Election Day is upon America, and the polls continue to show a closely fought battle between the four candidates. Coming off strong debate performances Gary Johnson and Dennis Kucinich have seen their poll numbers increase, while Biden and Giuliani have stayed largely dead even.

A recent move by the Biden Campaign is series of talking points, in which many of them call out and discredit both Dennis Kucinich and Bernie Sanders, a move seen by some pundits as an attempt to draw back Democratic votes that might otherwise go to Sanders.

Vice President Giuliani and Senator Hutchison continue to play up the experience card. An added bonus to their campaign has been President Bush. A recent survey finds his approval rating at 51 percent with 43 percent disapproving.

Gallup Tracking Poll:
(R) Rudy Giuliani: 34%
(D) Joe Biden: 33%
(L) Gary Johnson: 17%
(G) Dennis Kucinich: 14%

Fundraising Numbers: 2004 Election
(R) Rudy Giuliani: $356,341,046 Million
(D) Joe Biden: $340,236,288 Million
(L) Gary Johnson: $12,566,037
(G) Dennis Kucinich: $7,790,907 Million

BREAKING NEWS:
Excerpts of a video of Osama bin Laden addressing the American people was broadcast on al Jazeera. In his remarks, bin Laden mentions the September 11, 2001 attacks and taunted Bush over his response to them. No response from the Presidential Candidates, but the White House did issue a response, dismissing Bin Laden and stating that he will be found and stopped.
