With the Senate races last year, it seems there is no limit to what the GOP rank and file will put up with with their senators- at long as they have the (R) next to their name.

And what about rank and file Dems in WV?  Byrd is completely insane and he keeps getting returned to office. 

Byrd has been senator since 1958, so his incumbency advantage is Death-Star like. Bunning was a first-term senator, and Coburn and DeMint won open seats.
